He was really thoughtful in sending us sample galleries from weddings that were similar in venue and style to what we were planning. He was great at communicating about details prior to the wedding, even scouting out potential alternate locations when the forecast showed a chance of rain. On the day itself, James was wonderful. He provided just the right amount of direction while putting everyone at ease and getting a great array of candid shots and special moments. I still don't know how he manages to get so many different angles and shots by himself during the ceremony. We also love the video slideshow he did with the photos and speeches. The stunning photos from our wedding capture moments we'll cherish forever and we can't thank James enough and recommend him more highly!

Ryan and his team surpassed this standard tenfold! From the booking process and through planning, Ryan was always responsive and helpful if I had a question or concern. My favorite part about Ryan and his team was the fact that I would forget they were there. We were just so comfortable and happy and in our element. Less than two weeks after the wedding, we had our extended highlight film and I have watched it no less than 10 times. It was so perfect- it truly surpassed every expectation I had when it came to our video. If you are hesitant about hiring a videographer, DON'T BE! Having Ryan's video to show our families, children and grandchildren one day has been the greatest gift we ever got. Absolutely blew my mind how wonderful this whole experience was. It's a highlight video of the days happenings and they play it right at the reception, and include tidbits of the reception! It is really amazing because his artistic vision is definitely out of this world and he works sooooo fast. He is definitely in the zone at one point, with his headphones on and crazy ninja editing skills. I encourage you to work with him. He is easy to talk to, super duper responsive to emails, and will not let you down. He catches all those beautiful moments and the pure unadulterated emotions of love and a joyous celebration. Samantha was genuinely welcoming, kept things moving without making it feel rushed, and gave clear direction that made it easy to relax in front of the camera. Their setup looked dialed in, too. The lighting was clean and flattering, the camera gear felt legit, and I especially appreciated the floor mat they used to guide where to stand. That small touch made posing way easier and kept everything consistent, which really shows in the final shots. The photo quality came out awesome. Takeaway: A friendly, well-organized headshot experience with great results. Perfect for anyone who needs a polished photo for job hunting or updating their LinkedIn.

We are so grateful that we met Serge and had the ability/talent to bring that out of us into reality. Our story begins with me and my wife meeting at the gym in a cycle studio for the first time years ago. The gym is our most sacret place for both of us. So we agreed to discuss our ideas to Serge. His reaction became very possitive, motivating which gave us the confident that we needed. My wife is also a coffee lover and he suggested to take some pictures in a fancy coffee shot. It was hilarious and different but absolutely loved it!! We also both love nature and like to spend time outdoors. He took us to a magical place that is relaxing and unforgettable. We had a specific time of the day to perform our photo shoot, unfortunately, we were running late and my wife was very worried if we would have enough time to fit all our plans. At the same time Serge had other appointments after our photo shoot. He called to check on us to see if everything was as planned. We then explained the situation. Took it so calm and professionally that he understood what we were going through. This helped build back our confidence and encouraged us to continue as we talk about. Planning for a huge photshoot does take alot of time and energy to make it perfect. He explained that everything will be amazing but it wasn't amazing, it was EXTREMELY WONDERFUL AND BEYONG OUR EXPECTATIONS. We shared our ideas with him and later brought everything we mention to reality. It was all detailed to perfection and nothing was left out. He's skills were organized neatly that it was breathtaking. The experience we had was so much fun, exciting, and perfect that we can't stop talking about it and thanking Sokolov Photgraphy for everything they did for us. That's why we want to share this incredible experience with everyone. Once again, thank you Serge for the time and effort you put into our pictures. It means so much to us. And we love every single on of them. Rob & Cindy

They used the sickest drone and got really worked hard to get incredible shots of us with the venue and our the supercar that we rented. All our guests kept complimenting how great they are. It's not easy working with south Asian/desi families but they managed it so well. I personally loved TJ, she is such a sweetheart and had helped me put some of my things on when I had nobody to help me (that was so so generous and she didn't even have to do that ). She even hyped me up (the bride) and my husband, to make us smile/be comfortable in pictures. They put so much thought into their work, we're super professional, punctual and friendly. I have never met a more unprofessional wedding photographer, and I have years of experience of…read morebeing an assistant to a wedding photographer. This woman showed up in a t-shirt style jumper and sneakers to start. Comfort and mobility are important working, but so is blending in with a formal environment of a wedding. She was frazzled and didn't provide any direction and didn't have a plan, even though she was supposedly familiar with the venue and should know what photos she planned on taking. While, we, the bridal party was getting hair and makeup done for the wedding, she was snapping stills of the brides accessories for close to an hour. Where did she take these photos of the accessories? On the floor in the bathroom. This caused her to break my 1890s diamond and pearl pendant that I was loaning the bride into multiple pieces. I have no idea if she stepped on it or knelt on it moving crap around, but when confronted she insisted it was in pieces when she was taking photos already. It wasn't, I had check it that morning before she touched it and the chain was found on the floor in the bathroom. The rare, baroque nature pearl was never found. I had no recourse because she deleted any photos that would have shown the whole necklace. She didn't even try to find the missing pieces or apologize. When she did finally get around to taking photos of the bridal party, well behind schedule, there were zero instructions. No one knew what photos were being taken, no one knew where to go for the photos. The bride had a surprise for the groom that she knew about, but was no where to be found when it showed up. She kept directing us to walk through the grass in heels and then would change her mind once we got there so we had to keep going back and forth in muddy grass getting our dresses and shoes dirty. She didn't do any photography basics of staging and posing the bridal party, flooding the dress or giving any direction on how to stand, turn and face her for good photos. There is some actual skill in taking a good photo, not just relying on photoshop to do it all for you. It is also not the bridal parties responsibility to set up the photo. I have never had to do so much work being the subject of the photo. The other wedding aids who have worked with her in the past confirmed that she is always behind schedule and less than professional. During the reception she was in the way of everyone dancing trying to get photos. Wedding guests were having to constantly move around her. Even without her destroying an heirloom necklace, she is not someone I would ever hire. I will say the bride and groom turned out beautiful, they are beautiful people and it's not hard to capture that. Following this review, they were contacted and begging to have it removed, so I did edited it. Once again they failed to take accountability for their mistakes and use a negative review to do better. Everyone deserves a chance to improve, but if they aren't willing to listen to criticism they never will. I wait to give reviews until I am no longer livid with the experience and can give a fair and accurate review. You don't have to be a paying customer to have a horrible experience with a business. Do better.
