Once I got my order and opened it in my car, the hash was cracked. I went back inside to exchange it and they were rude about it and replaced it as a "courtesy". Didn't allow me to open it in store to ensure it was fine - spoiler alert, it wasn't. Almost seems like they had a power outage and some hash got ruined but instead of taking accountability shifted the blame towards me for their unstable conditions. Usually I have no problems here which is why I make the drive, but next time I'll just order delivery and save my time. Hoping yall can make this right. read more

When I got home, I realized the product I received was not the item advertised, but a different brand and a resin pen, which I would not have knowingly purchased. This was not an issue of simply disliking a flavor -- it was a clear case of product misrepresentation. During pickup, the employee did not clearly show me the items, as they were held behind the register. When I returned to the store to address this, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen, repeatedly reframing the issue as me "not liking the flavor" despite my explanation. There was no effort to investigate whether the online listing or image had been incorrect at the time of purchase. When I asked if the issue could be escalated to whoever manages the website listings, I was flatly told it could not be done.What made the situation worse was her tone and attitude -- it felt condescending and dismissive rather than professional. As a customer, I didn't feel heard or respected at all. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. The lack of accountability and the manager's attitude made this situation far worse. I did not feel heard or respected as a customer. Resin products should be clearly identified in online listings. Resin vs. non-resin is an important distinction for many customers, and accurate labeling would help prevent situations like this in the future Mistakes happen, but how a business responds matters. Unfortunately, the manager's behavior showed a lack of customer care and accountability. This place is wonderful, especially if you're freshly 21 like me. They treat you with respect, like any other adult that would walk into the place, and not like a "fresh 21 year old baby". They treat you warmly, but not overbearing or belittling. It was awesome, honestly. Incredibly chill, really straightforward. Staff were very welcoming without being overexcited or pushing a bunch of sales. Closest dispensary to me, so by default after moving to El Monte I had to pay them a visit. The building is secured with on site Security. The greeter/receptionist who checks ID's is welcoming and all the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable in cannabis. I go mostly for pre rolls and gummies and they are fairly priced with daily specials that help cut the cost. Have only been a handful of times, but no complaints thus far. I found this place on Weedmaps; they were running a sweet deal. I was looking for Rosin and asked a budtender which one was the best, and got a few other things. Shortly after, my girlfriend and I took like 15 hits each and couldn't feel anything. I figured it was a dud product. I called the next day and spoke to a manager named Anthony; he told me he would make it right. I came in the next day, and because it's such a rare occasion, Anthony understood the inconvenience of the situation. Not only did he hook me up with a better product of equal value, but he also gave me an additional product of their own brand to try. The new Rosin pen he swapped it with is amazing. I'm excited to try theirs as well. As someone who works for a vape hardware company, I definitely know when something's off, and I'm glad they trusted me and took care of me. Customer service has truly gone down here over the years. I have been coming to this dispensary for the better part of 3 years, but lately it seems as tho the employees and security are just..... not liking their work. I don't mind dealing with bad service if the price is good, but last night was the line of dealing with bad service, where I don't even want to come back anymore. I had a budtender lie and sell me what he said was a 100mg edible (tho he and the upped manager I'll deal with in a sec just seemed like they were on something if I'm being honest), didn't give me the chance to look at the product, put it in the bag. Before I left I noticed it was only 10mg. I would've thought a return could be simple. The manager said they "saw the purchase (which I don't know what that means if they implied I tried to steal it)". I asked if they heard their employee when they said how many mg it had, and all they said is they couldn't accept a return (so I mean, they were just giving me bull). I asked for the owner's contact to reach out on the weekday, and that really upset them. As someone was autism, the upscale of asking for an exchange to a manager being rude, sarcastic, and hostile is just uncalled for. I got. I store number, they rudely said to contact the ceo on instagram and "good luck with that", and called security. Furthermore, as someone with autism, I certainly dealt with this place (with the loud music, and being told to remove my earplugs) in regards to an unfriendly environment, but it's just pure hostile now. So you know, I dealt with bad service and terrible environment for the sake of price, but I'm not doing it anymore, hope that $10 edible you lied about and became hostile over was worth losing a customer. read more

I've been to this place a few times and never had a problem. That changed yesterday when I brought my best friend in to get her some flower for her birthday. I was telling her how great this place is, and was excited to show her all of the selection. We get called to the counter by a youngish brunette woman with pointy nails. I used to go to The Lab and Kush Hub. At the time I thought they were great. Then I went to Catalyst. WOW! Their selection is incredible. Their prices seem much better than the other dispensaries I went to. On top of that, you can place an order online. They gather it for you, and send you an email when it's ready. You can also pay with your debit card. My first visit, I didn't pre-order, and I was overwhelmed by the selection. 2nd and 3rd visits, I've used their pre-order and now they've spoiled me. Upon arrival, you go through the usual ID checkin, but if you pre-order, you're rushed in before the walk-ins. The service of the budtenders is impecable. They're helpful, friendly, and efficient.
