Very friendly folks. The iced latte was perfect, with a good consistency and a bit of espresso bite. We had the cinnamon rolls, and they were yummy. The dough was textured, but not thick at all, nice and light. Just enough icing to cover the top, but not thick, shocking one's teeth with that "too sweet" feel. A generous spread of flavorful powdered cinnamon topped it off. I consider this roll a thoroughly enjoyable treat. The cafe has a great coffee house ambiance. Good music playing softly. Books to read. Comfy couch. A big board where locals can post their wares and businesses, so it has a good community feel. There's kid art for us to enjoy, and a place for kids to play. This place is a little hidden gem! While the exterior is nothing special, the inside is surprisingly big with a few games, books and an area for kids to play. Has tables and more casual chairs as well, great for a coffee date! The blended caramel macchiato was delicious! Bagel sandwich was good, nothing too special. Recommend this local spot to fellow tired moms, to students, for coworker outings, and for friend meetups. Perhaps even a fun Coffee date! Great layout and areas to play boardgames, do work on a laptop, read, chat with others. Very kid friendly with the best cake pops and an entire play area allowing moms and dads to actually finish their coffee while it is warm. Employees have always been very sweet and helpful to my family. I'm unsure what the bad reviews are about because I never saw bad service here. In fact I've witnessed staff at Mad Coffee go above and beyond for customers. Ordering and wait time has been slow at times. Coffee and teas are good. I saw huge bags of only organic coffee, if that matters to you. I appreciated the variety of alternative milks available. I have sweet tooth but beverages can be too sugary sometimes so you may want to ask them to go light on sweeteners. Still good. I recommend the best chai in the city. It tastes amazing and much like a London Fog. Matcha is good too. I haven't had a sandwich yet but observed others eating and it looked like nice light fare. read more

Stopped in while visiting a friend in the area. I love trying new coffee places and I was excited to stumble upon this place. It was mostly shut down because of COVID, so there was one worker. He was very nice, answered our questions, and we did it all from an ordering station right inside the door. I ordered a white chocolate caramel frappe. The prices were great for the sizes you get. The drink was hot and deliciously flavored. The Carmel drizzle and whip was a great addition. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich. I was a little picky with the order. Open faced on an everything bagel and NO avocado, because by now, all y'all know I am allergic. Lol. The sandwich included the following; bacon, spinach, cheese, egg, tomatoe, and a smear of mayo. Hello my new fav. Wasn't having the best day ever, and desperately needed coffee. I hadn't been to this place yet so I figured why not? I am so glad I did. I had a caramel macchiato, small. Small what was I thinking?!? I should have gotten the biggest size they had! The temp was perfect, it was in a travel cup, but I could tell, the foam was perfect, it tasted perfect, it was...perfect. We backtracked to get Mad Coffee, this place is closer to the Space Museum so we had to drive back. It was ok. I got a matcha latte - they didn't ask how I wanted it and found out later that they make it sweet. I prefer unsweetened. I think they should ask before making it sweet! I did finish it still. We go there after shopping to relax and have coffee. There's always great music playing, a choice of multiple seating areas and a nice playing section for kids. It was a recent first visit at this new location I ordered the latte: 16oz. lukewarm milk, ONE shot espresso. Isn't 2 shots the standard? The flavor of the espresso was stale. I did not finish the cow's milk. After I tasted this latte I wanted my tip back. The service was average. In the morning rush ( before 9 AM ) I was third, and not there long. If it were my coffee shop I would have the carpet cleaned and a better air filter. The space had a musty fragrance. There was no coffee shop music to invite you in. Not what it used to be (at other location). My coffee was luke warm. Atmosphere is uncomfortable. Coffee fixing table is terrible. No more sugar in the raw, the only creamer available is garbage powdered creamer. No prices on the menu, no coffee on the menu. And the older lady who chased away the helpful employee, to give me the creamer I had to ask for, had a look on her face that made me feel like an imposition. Well, maybe that's my assumption, but she certainly didn't do anything to make me feel welcome. Just moved to the area. I love to hit up local coffee shops and get a dose of caffeine. Usually prefer to go to locals places over a big chain place. This place brews a decent cup. Definitely better than what you could get at a gas station. Plus they have a pretty laidback vibe and some art work on the walls. Big fan of their turkey sandwich, it's Thanksgiving on bread. The croissanwich is good too. Their selection of juice blends and fruit smoothies is exceptional though I prefer to get a frappe every time I stop by. I also love me some chai tea. A recently redesigned layout makes for comfortable seating. Love the artwork. Great service for a small operation.
