Fast forward...I now have sealegs (which you don't need) so I booked a gondola to see the Naples Christmas lights to get a different view. The weekend before, friends and I walked the canal after the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade, so you can imagine the crowds of people going to see the Naples lights. The gondola is a much better way to see the lights. Booking online was simple. I received a confirmation email and in the email was what to expect. If you bring beverages, they provide a cooler/ice bucket with ice and cups. Connor was our gondolier and he was an absolute champ. He paddled through the canal so quickly that we had more time left on our cruise, so he took us out to the bay which was deserted, but peaceful. We had such a great time thanks to Connor! I highly recommend Gondola Getaway. Their staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. It's well worth the $267.50 (pre tip).

I got an email a few days before our event saying our time was canceled and the company closed indefinitely! So I tried leaving Aaron voicemails and emails and never heard back!! I notified my bank and they are going after them to collect my money! I will never use this company and I'll make sure to warn people before using them if they try to re open again! If you can't fulfill your scheduled times or call people and refund them then you have no right to be in business!

To our absolute surprise, we met with Anthony Barr and not only was the location affordable, he was willing to work with us on absolutely EVERYTHING on our list. With Anthony's help, we not only had a historic and gorgeous location (which included a bridal area and space for our whole party), but he helped us to find all of our vendors, negotiated with various vendors on our behalf at times, took care of our decor requests... I could go on. I honestly don't know how I would have managed the wedding procedure without the help Anthony gave, but we also just adored the Bembridge property. The weekend tickets sells out fast, please reserve at least one month ahead. I could not find any regular tickets by the time I booked our seats and had to change our plan to a Sunday with inside cabin seat. I had seasickness while seating inside and had to come out to the desk to sooth myself. The regular open air ticket costs about $88 but the inside cabin is about ~$134. The inside cabin ticket includes a free drink and a small snack ( cookies vs pretzels). There is restroom conveniently located inside. Staffs are courteous and friendly.

The Queen Mary's Haunted Encounters Tour is an educational adventure that isn't too spooky. The guided tour person provided some eerie stories and history of the ship. The tour also highlights some of the most interesting ghost stories and experiences. After the tour, we relaxed with some drinks at the lovely Observation Bar. The staff was friendly and paid attention to us, and, the cocktails tasted amazing! The tour guide did a great job. He took us to different rooms and shared about encounters that staff members and guests had experienced. Naturally we had to go to that room and check it out lol The lights were flickering in the room. But nothing else was noticeable when we were there. It was fun to learn about the history of the Queen Mary and learn about the people that had passed away on the ship, as well as the ghosts/ spirits that reside there today. Really fun tour! And the walking wasn't too bad because the guide would stop and wait and then share more stories. Just make sure you are on time for the tours!
