For months & months have been excited about this business opening. I love cats but I'm really busy & to get one wouldn't be fair because I would never be in. This place is 'purrfect' for people like me. Greeted on arrival by two ladies at reception (side entrance) we could either wear slippers or cover our shoes with covers. We were given house rules of how to behave around the cars ( no picking up, chasing them etc) put our stuff into lockers & walked through. Really nice relaxing atmosphere calming music & friendly staff. I spoke to Sarah & Ellie (owners who are sisters) really friendly girls. Free coffee & hot drinks they just charge you for your time with the cats £12 per 60 minutes. Cakes & other food is extra. The cats were gorgeous! Happy and playful, they had built little beds with there names on how cute ! All different types of cats Persian, rag doll, tabby. When they had enough of humans they could resort to their own section away from us. Lots of walkways high up on the walls, stuff to play with for the cats & kittens. Lots of friendly advice from staff members. Had a lovely time playing with the cats. Really relaxed & nice atmosphere! Nice comfortable chairs too. It opens to the general public tomorrow & the girls tell me it's booked till October 2016 but they do accept walkin's too. This place a going to be a big hit!

I went for when it opened so I was the first one in and I had a great chat with one of the staff about dragonball z as I was wearing a shirt of it. Inside it looked immaculate, very trendy and a place I would love to go to, time and time again. It was a large space too and they had their own merchandise in there which I will buy one day and a full cabinet of delicious looking treats .. all handmade and not the usual manufactured items. I went for a donut and a flat white and they were both amazing. As I was on a coffee tour, I took it all out and had it whilst sat next to the canal ... perfect view for a perfect coffee. I couldn't recommend this place more and I count the days until I can return.

TL;DR - Great coffee shop away from some of the busier spots in Ancoats…read more You really need to know this place is here to find it, tucked away inside Royal Mill. Go in through the main entrance, past reception and the cafe is on the far right. In side it's dimly lit but cosy with lots of exposed wood. Great coffee, great cakes and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Every time we've been here it's always pleasantly busy but not overcrowded. There's plenty of seating inside at tables and long benches, or you can head into the "outside" seating area, which is actually indoors but under glass and so protected from the weather. They also roast their own coffee so you can pick up a bag to go.

One Sunday I went up as I could get there for opening time and decided to cross it off my list. When I got there it was already open so that was a little confusing ... but it was RAMMED. Luckily, I was going on my own so could easily be sat at the window, which was a great view, and easily got served. So many people came in after me and couldn't be seated without a reservation. But the host was very lovely and gracious and people understood. Food wise I went for the shakshuka, it sounded nice, and it really was ... it was also EXTREMELY hot because it was served in cast iron and kept its heat. It was delicious. The toast was crispy, the tomatoes were tasty, chickpeas were crunchy and a nice addition, The added sausage was very delicious, the eggs were good although I would have preferred if they had some runny yolk but its almost impossible to get that with baked eggs. Server was lovely, staff were great, absolutely need to return here when I can.
