I was welcomed as soon as I walked into the store by an exceptional young man, Kevin Murray. He was extremely knowledgeable about the bar stools and all the variations. He was very patient, (spent about 2 1/2 hours with me), showing me many different styles at a relaxed pace. He was also very personable and friendly. I ended up ordering 2 barstools and Kevin arranged for me to purchase a third stool which was a floor model. I was shocked that he offered to deliver the floor model to our home within a day or 2! We didn't ask for this, assuming it would be delivered with the other 2. We highly recommend this business. The product quality and customer service is exceptional. I have been shopping for barstools for almost a year now and I finally found some that work for me...but before I order them, I wanted to make sure I explored all my options so I decided to check out Casual Dining Bar Stools. I visited on Black Friday with my kids in tow and my parents. The store was empty, but I didn't expect it to be crowded- who goes barstool shopping on Black Friday? Upon walking in, I wasn't greeted. I told the male salesperson I was looking for counter height stools..."All my stools are counter height. They're over there". So, I went 'over there' to look some more. Meanwhile, my kids are having a fun time sitting on all the stools. They weren't being destructive or wild, just excited about different seats. After roaming the aisles, a female salesperson approaches- but does not ask what I'm looking for. I told her exactly what I'm was looking for and the style. She told me only a few stools came in counter height and only one fit my requirements. Besides that interaction, she clearly had no interest in helping. Meanwhile, my kids are still sitting on the stools but not being wild. The male salesperson cared more about talking to my father about where they were visiting from and the female salesperson had a bit of an aloof attitude. The store does sell good quality barstools and you can customize almost anything from the color of the frame to the material. I realized this after the female salesperson handed me two swatch books but never explained what they were for- the cloth one is the upholstery options and the other are frame options. I know this from buying similar furniture in my lifetime. Based on the salespeople in that store, they really weren't interested in making a sale. Granted, I wasn't dressed to the nines, so maybe they thought I couldn't afford it. I also had my kids in tow...so maybe they were annoyed by my kids looking at barstools and sitting on them. I don't know..but I do know I have never felt so unwelcomed at a place where I could have dropped a ton of money. I won't be returning. read more

A most positive experience from first walking in and through receiving the bar stools. We were notified in the allotted time frame that had been quoted that the stools were ready to be delivered, at a delivery fee, or picked up at no charge. I drove to their nearby warehouse to pick up, and save the $50-75 delivery fee. Brought the stools home, and we had a significant problem with one, and a less severe problem with the other. The seats swivel, yet did not "stay" in place after getting up. We took a short video of the problem, emailed it to them, and they agreed it was not to spec, and immediately ordered new stools. A few weeks later they arrived, and I went to their warehouse to exchange the stools. One was perfect, and one had a minor crack in the handle cover. I exchanged the good one, and the manager was able to change the handle cover and redeliver it to my home the next day. What excellent customer service from all concerned...Alison, our sales rep, Diana, their customer service rep, Earl the warehouse rep, and Jake the warehouse supervisor. My experience here was a good one... could've been a little better, but the sales associate who helped us was brand new (2 weeks new to be exact) & I won't hold that against him. He was very helpful & polite. He misinformed us about a couple of things, but corrected it & apologized for the mistakes-- no problem. Overall the experience here was painless & quick. The show room is pretty big. Lots of different dining options from full dinner tables down to 2 person tables. This place had a great variety of tables as well as bar stools (as the name suggests). You can mix and match the dining table to the desired chairs/stools. We bought a 5 piece dining set (4 chairs, leather cushioned seats+table) for only $299.99. The sales associate had to look at the price tag again to make sure it was for the WHOLE set opposed to just the table price. Such a steal! Delivery is about $89.99 but you have an option of picking it up at their warehouse. Delivery cost may vary by product... Bought a table and chair set here, about $1500 so not the nicest one on the floor but still a good chunk of change. Nice sales guy. I get it home and it stays covered for a few weeks because we're just moving in. We finally get it uncovered and after setting ONE glass of water on the table, ONE, the stain has come off and there is a permanent mark on the table. Literally after 5 minutes of use. I called the store and they blew me off. Called again and they said they'd have customer service contact me, no call back. Called again and they told me it was made in China. Is that your way of telling me you sold me a pile of crap?! Wow. Never shopping here again, not a penny will I spend. Update- owner emailed me and asked for pictures and order number a few weeks ago. I sent everything and have received no response about what can be done. Owner never called me back. Cool. Here is a recent picture, we never sit here because the table is a piece of shit. Don't count on getting your order on time. Ordered dining chairs that were expected to come in 3 to 6 weeks, we were promised it would come in six weeks, then the next month, then the next. It's been 3 months already and we still haven't gotten the chairs. We expected it to come way before thanksgiving, they gave us dates which were never fulfilled. So much for the happy thanksgiving. If you want to order here don't expect to get it on time. It's ok if it doesn't come on the first expected date, but if you promised us dates of arrival more than once, at least see to it that it comes on time. Don't give us false hopes. read more
