This is a great place to pick up a "stick" or to relax and enjoy some down time. I love the fact that they offer free wi-fi, so I can grab my laptop and cell phone and not miss any business, while I catch a short break. The guys are great, the store is being renovated to become a full-on cigar bar. I wish they were open later but that may change when the bar opens. OK, so I'm not up in this area often, but when when I am, I like to stop in for a stick. They carry Viaje which is probably my favorite maker of cigars. Out of all the Castro's Back Room locations, this is my favorite.. it's got a large seating area lined with humidors and plenty of comfortable seating spread throughout the place. Plus, they have a bar and free wifi so you can get some work done. read more

There are few places where one can go to pick out a nice cigar at a good price and enjoy it with a beer, a bourbon, or a Snapple, watch TV or not, chat or not, in the depth of a deep leather chair, in whatever clothes you show up in. Lazy service, the lady there seem appalled that she had to help me. The workers there to were extreamly loud and constantly swearing creating a not great smoking environment but whatever. On top of that though the cigar itself seemed extreamly dry and I would maybe be willing to look past that cigar and try again but the service was just to bad read more

I'm from Maine and was passing thru. Saw the sign and stopped in. I was glad I did. Not only do they have a great selection of cigars, but also a good selection of tobacco for pipe smokers. Very friendly service. I tried the BEST vanilla pipe tobacco I've ever had. Unfortunately the nice Lady couldn't tell me which brand it was. It was in a BIG glass jar. I don't get down that way often and was hoping to find out what brand it was so I could mail-order it. They also had a mascot there, a beautiful Corgi dog. I love businesses that have dogs in the store. read more

Castro's has a few small conversation areas, some tables and wifi for laptop work, big screen tvs throughout, and a very accomodating staff. I often sit down in a group of welcoming regulars and new faces and have a great cigar as the conversations span the gamut. For those times when work or a good book feels better than conversation, it's easy to be left alone. Whether your preference is football, baseball, hockey, basketball or golf, there are usually a few people watching the game and a small crowd for the bigger events. Cigar event nights happen about once a month or so and are a great time to buy a couple of boxes when the prices are discounted more than usual. The bar is well stocked at the top shelf level, but has PBR in case you want to opt out of the top shelf. read more

I was on a social trip in the area and a buddy who moved up there suggested we check the place out as he had never been there and we always liked to have a smoke and as Barry Fitzgerald said in The Quiet Man "Talk a little treason with me comrades" :) Glad we stopped! Most comfortable Cigar Lounge I have ever been in, including in Vegas. Had a bar with reasonable prices and had a Keurig (?) Coffee maker with plenty of Green Mountaing/Starbucks.Dunkin Donuts K-cups varities. Guy on duty (owner?) was as hospitable as any cigar wrangler I ever met. Great selection of cigars. I joked with him that if he put in a pizza oven, a stripper pole, and some Lay-z-boys he would never get folks to leave the place. Really top notch. If you are a cigar smoker and in the Bedford, NH area, this is a MUST STOP IN, Wish he would open a shop down here, an eleven hour drive is just a bit much for a smoke (not a LOT, but just more than I'm willing to do.) :) read more
