Caves are so interesting and there is so much to learn about them . Longhorn Cavern offer 3 different tour options. The cavern walking tour is just like a casual walking tour. The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase. I saw a section for pizza, but it was sold out. I had amazing time during my visit. The cave is beautiful and there is so much to see.

However, this park does not give you that option to launch your boat here as it is just a strip of land between private residences. This may be a public park, but it is most likely used by the local residents only. It does have a set of swings and a couple of picnic tables with grills on the property, but not much else. So keep in mind, this is NOT a boat launch park.

However, there is so little information about this area that I wanted to help my fellow Yelpers out. This is about 15 minutes away from Marble Falls, TX. It's a quiet peaceful place with a several community parks and boat launching site. I think this might be a great place for boating enthusiasts because it looks like the shores are full of wild life. (Non-resident launching fee is $10) We saw several beautiful birds. If you love deer, this is the place to see them. They are everywhere-tons of does and fawns. We even saw a 3 or 4 point buck. We mainly came here thinking we wanted good views of the lake. Unfortunately, this was not the case as there are many homes that border the water's edge. The best views will probably be from a boat.

You'll also find two well-built fishing piers and parking at the rear, including two handicap spots. Here you will also find a shallow boat launch complete with payment kiosk. Definitely a great place to bring the family for a picnic or a boat launch, but I wouldn't recommend swimming in the algae filled water. This park has all the amenities you could hope for such as covered picnic areas, public bathrooms, and a panoramic lake view. There's also a play area for the kids and a grill at almost every table. The property has quite a few shade trees, but it could use a few more. It does have one boat dock and a small fishing pier. The one feature that probably most readers are wondering about is if it has a boat ramp. Yes it does have a single boat ramp accessible to the lake and there is a fee. There is a boat launch payment kiosk located next to the ramp which will print out your daily pass. The park has no fixed parking lot so you'll just have to park next to the road either on the grass or gravel. Definitely a great spot for a family picnic or to go fishing. This park is set amongst a very quiet affluent community of new homes. Apart from the picnic tables and grills there's not much else in the way of amenities and the property could definitely use some shade trees. There is a gravely parking area just before the picnic tables and I would definitely suggest bringing a large umbrella or pop-up tent to keep the sun off you. The property itself is relatively small with just three picnic tables, two grills, some swings, and a modern public bathroom. There's a reasonable amount of shade here, but no covered picnic area and parking is where you can fit your car on the property since there is no lot. It is a peaceful spot, nestled amongst the residential homes in the area. This would be a good spot for a family picnic, but I'd recommend the Robin Hood park not far from here instead. Lots of photos here for more information.
