I called to see if I could get a loaner car and just leave it there since I took the day off work ( unpaid) to go out there since I live 49 miles away. They tell me they can't even do a key reprogram for my car because they aren't a Mitsubishi dealership anymore. When I made the appointment they ask what kinda car and knew I wanted a key reprogram. I was hoping because of new ownership the dealer would improve but it's still the same horrible Gary lang.

Part of the problem was that our family was down to one car and we needed a replacement ASAP. It's hard to be diligent when you put too much pressure on yourself. We could've stuck with the rental car for another week for a few hundred bucks, to ensure we didn't get robbed a thousand bucks or more. My wife is a really good BS detector and she's not afraid to call it out. She was argued about how there was a lease promotion on the website and the dealership claimed that it only applied if we paid for the LoJack. They made the numbers work, so while it was odd, we didn't dig too deep. For the smart ones out there, you know this already, but for those unaware (like us), take the time to google "Do I need to pay for a dealer pre-installed LoJack?". We were too trusting, as the people we worked with were polite and patient. We liked the salesperson we worked with as he was kind and conversational, but we fell for the scams once we got to the paperwork and the finance person pulled some trickery that I didn't quite comprehend until I had the time to process. We love our Kia and we got it at a price that we feel was roughly in line with other dealerships, sort of. The problem is that we learned some things through this process and we think we could've saved $1000s off of what we ended up with. I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this dealership to anyone. Maybe if you're smart and savvy and know the game well, but if you're looking for some honest brokers, go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, after multiple visits, I feel comfortable saying the issues have been consistent enough to share. I've brought my pickup truck here several times for warranty and recall work. One of my biggest frustrations involved warranty repairs they claimed would not be covered and attempted to charge me regular mechanic rates for. I declined the work, took the truck to another local repair shop, and they were able to complete the repair under warranty without an issue. I also had recall work completed here where the actual issue was technically fixed, but the quality of the work was disappointing. Ever since the repair, grease comes out around the window frame every time I roll the window up or down. It's frustrating to have new problems after bringing a vehicle in for service. I genuinely wish I could leave a better review because they are a longtime community business, but based on my experiences, I would not recommend buying a vehicle here or using their service department.

They were aware the heated seats weren't working and the AC/heat wasn't blowing out correctly, along with many other issues.. One of their mechanics just cleared the code for the check engine light to go off, because we let them know it was showing an e-vap leak. And they never took care of it. I was also told they were going to order a new paint marker that matched, for all the little dings and scratches that were visible, which they never kept their word on and later denied saying it. We drove the car about 5 days and brought it back in to get the issues fixed and for them to check for any recalls. We emailed them a list of all issues in advance, just days after purchasing as they requested. They said the wrong part came after a week of waiting and that they were waiting for the new part. They never called me back, I always had to call them to check in on the vehicle and then after almost 4 weeks of them having the car they never fixed any issues that was agreed upon and when we finally got the car back there was a PARKING TICKET FROM THEM shoved into the seat from days prior! We dropped the car off at the McHenry location and the PARKING TICKET THEY RECEIVED IN MY CAR W/ MY PLATES was received in SCHAUMBURG!! We also took a pic of the mileage when dropping back off to them and THEY DROVE IT OVER 100 MILES during the time they had it!!
