New F150 Platinum purchased from Castle Rock Ford
    Joe R.

I recently purchased a new F150 truck from Castle Rock Ford. Allina the sales person was exceptionally helpful, asking me to describe how I used my existing F150, and what goals I had for my new vehicle. She then identified the model that was the best-fit for my needs; while streamlining the trade-in process on my old truck. Overall it was an awesome experience. Zero pressure, fair price, with a knowledgeable, & friendly staff. Will purchase from them again!

    Advertised price of vehicle

Extremely disappointing experience at Castle Rock Ford. Potential buyers beware of false advertising and bait-and-switch tactics. On June 17, 2024, my wife and I visited to purchase a 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning advertised for $46,245 on their website and showroom window (see attachments). This price explicitly included the $7,500 EV federal tax credit. We negotiated an even better deal for $44,499 with salesperson Aiden and finance person Wes, who both signed off on it. When we returned on June 22 to finalize the purchase, an unidentified finance person refused to honor either the negotiated or advertised price. He claimed the tax credit couldn't be applied to the vehicle price, only towards the payment. This dramatically increased the price: - Advertised price jumped from $46,245 to $53,745 - Our negotiated price rose from $44,499 to $51,999 These increases represent a shocking 16.2% and 16.9% jump respectively. This practice appears to violate: 1. Colorado's Consumer Protection Act regarding false advertising 2. The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which allows dealers to use the tax credit to reduce the vehicle's price We have documentation of the agreed price, website screenshots, and photos of the showroom price. I'm reporting this to the Colorado Attorney General's Office and BBB. Castle Rock Ford's refusal to honor their advertised and negotiated prices is a deceptive business practice. Their advertisement never mentioned the tax credit couldn't be applied to the price. This is a clear case of bait-and-switch. I strongly advise extreme caution when dealing with Castle Rock Ford. The price you see advertised may suddenly increase by thousands when you try to buy. This dealership seems to prioritize deceptive tactics over honest customer service.

You can see the engine filter on the right and the cabin filter on the left super clean

I bought my 2022 F150 at Castle Rock Ford couple years ago and today I took it in for another oil change and tire rotation. I had them change the filter engine compartment, and then the cabin filter of course obviously if it's needed as you can see, the engine filter is needed, but the cabin filter was super clean. I was told by the person in the quick lube that it takes time to take the glove box off, so they just change it out anyway when they do the engine filter, the issue is or at least my issue is it was $94 and the glove box literally takes about 40 seconds to take off because I did it myself which means to change the filter in the glove box is about a 2 1/2 to 3 minute job I'm not really happy that I was charged $94 and I didn't even need a filter. They should havel taken the glove box off seen that the filter was still clean and then just said it does not need to be changed instead of saying that it needs attention and that it must be changed to me. That is a big scam so I'm not really happy about that and I thought about this all day. I got work done this morning. I like to be able to trust the deal that they're gonna try to railroad and they're gonna do a good job and be honest about what they're doing. This is not honest in my opinion, as you can clearly see the filter is clean

I was lucky to have my 2015 Premium Steeda Mustang serviced at Castle Rock Ford. The process was quick, efficient, and professional. My vehicle has lots of aftermarket parts installed & I had full confidence that the SAE certified master mechanics would take good care of of it. The car was taken in, and delivered on time, as promised. Joel Strizich, & Sabrina made sure that the oil change was performed using top quality fully synthetic motorcraft oil, and that all 4 recalls were taken care of. Five Stars for an exceptional job. Highly recommend this place for all your service needs. Thanks, LaLe Nenadovic

I have been searching for a local shop to handle oil changes and minor maintenance work for my son's Subaru and I think my search is now over. As I stated, I just needed an oil change for my son's car (synthetic oil) and Nate and the guys in the back took care of that in record time. I had an appointment at 2pm and the mechanic came out at 2:25 to let me know the scheduled work was completed. My son mentioned that his A/C had been blowing warm recently, and the mechanic said he could take a look at it now. Before I knew it, the A/C had been topped off and it still wasn't the top of the hour. All I can say is fantastic service from this shop. $70 for a synthetic oil change for the Subie, plus the additional cost for A/C service. I did make an appointment for this visit, but I saw many others coming in as I waited to drop of vehicles for future service. If you're local to Castle Rock and seeking a shop you can trust, I highly recommend ColorAuto Service and Repair.

I call Christian Brothers and explained what was happening. They ask me to bring it back down when I can but I was OK to drive the car ( they had no idea if there was oil in the car or not). I took it back to them and this is where I lost respect. They said that the last place that did the oil change spilled oil all over the pan. Interesting, the cars oil had not been changed in 7 months and there has been "0" oil on my garage floor. They should have owned their problem and they didn't! But they are. How do I know? The CR location were in the middle of working on my truck and didn't tell me when they closed. Took my money and ran. I ordered parts to have installed and was assured they would work which ended up not fitting - the icing on top. So I'm out close to $600 to ruin my vehicle. Now, let the fun begin. It took me 2 weeks of calling different factions, but I was able to find their other shop (registered under the same LLC) who informed me "Oh, yeah, that shop is closed." That's awesome - when did you intend on telling me? Why did the techs there suddenly stop texting me back? CO springs stated that they had "no idea" about my vehicle or situation. But offered to help me make it right, apologizing profusely. So when they asked me to drive 55 miles to drop it off, I wasn't happy, but I thought OK, they're trying. Big mistake. After taking the day off from work ($XXX) and wasting my limited personal time driving 110 total miles ($XX in gas) I was also forced to uber from the shop to a coffee place to try and kill X hours before paying to uber back to the shop. I arrived to find my vehicle's windows down parked under a pollenating tree. Nice. Started the car, it sounded OK. Better than before. Ten minutes into my highway trip home I was mortified to hear and then see a clamp fall off and start bouncing up the highway. Moments later the pipe disconnect and began to hang. The cabin stunk of exhaust fumes and the vehicle sounded like a hellcat with open headers. Once safely home - I contacted the shop to tell them, but were closed. I texted the contact I had there (not dropping names) and they offered to "tow it back Monday" hours later. What has this shop done to instill any confidence in me? How do you expect anyone with a single braincell to then trust you enough to tow it 55 miles back and forth without my supervision? Are you kidding me? Here's the best part. When I asked for a refund on the original work - not the time and money spent since getting it "fixed" - I was told that the CO springs location is not responsible for a refund since the castle rock location did the work and they are not affiliated. HAHAHAHHAH. What business would EVER take in someone's vehicle that was f'd up by shop offering to make it right for free? What world do you live in???? You guys need to get your stuff together.
