This shop has lied to me, and damaged tires while charging double the cost for a seasonal tire change. Do not do business with this shop. In Oct 2024 I was told that my break pads were less than 4mm and needed to be replaced. This didn't make sense to me since DD had replaced my break pads in April 2024. I looked at the pads and they were still almost new as I expected. Double D LIED to me. They also damaged my tires so badly when they removed them that those tires could not be used again. Avoid this lying business and save yourself money. read more

Brought my 2013 Cadillac SRX to them for a 60,000 mile transmission maintenance. I called around and gotten a variety of quotes, there's came in amongst the lowest. But I also got a good reference from them by another automotive repair that I use for my BMW. Once I brought the car in and they completed the work the final bill was several hundred less than what they originally quoted. Many shops take advantage and perform work not necessary, but I did not find this to be the case with them! I am very pleased with the service and the honesty integrity of this shop! read more

These guys are great! My daughter originally came in for a brake job because an overpriced mechanic said she needed them. Double D not only said she didn't need them, he said he would trust his own daughter to drive her vehicle. That made my daughter feel much better that she didn't need to spend money she really didn't have. She did however have a problem with her engine fan. It was making loud noises. Double D found that a critter chewed through the wiring harness. They fixed that and also gave my daughter a break in cost because she really didn't have the money. They gave me excellent service on a moment's notice when I was in an urgent situation when others would not. They were extremely thorough and could not have been more honest in their assessment of my truck and how to deal with its issues. They fixed it for $70 and gave me a plan for next steps and went the extra mile with a few other items for free. Another reputable shop in Castle Rock said my only option was $1780 immediate repair and they also refused to help out with a minor fluid fill saying it was too much of a hassle even though they knew my urgency. DD is awesome, even had a good sense of humor in my dealings with them. I'll be coming back for more service! read more

I take both of my cars here for all my repair needs. One is a 2004 Jeep and the other is a 2011 Ford F-150. They always do great work for a reasonable price. My last repair was a heater malfunction. They had to completely remove the dashboard to properly fix it. Not only does it work great the rattle I had for several years is gone. Love this place! read more

I did a routine drive to Castle Rock the other day when my car decided to dictate my next move. I called Double D when my car broke down and asked if they had time for me, to which Kevin stated they in fact did. I limped my car to their shop. They were very thorough and checked every possible cause for my engine misfire. Even though my car proved to be a challenge, they continued to see what the problem was and we discussed their steps. Although they narrowed down the problem, my car again decided to be difficult, so they did their best to tighten everything and come up with solutions in case it did it again. The mechanic test drove it in an effort to get it to duplicate the original problem, but it never did again. Most places would have stopped hours before they did and said a big 'we don't know' or it's going to be x amount of dollars. I really appreciated their help and will go back to their shop, even though I live a distance away. read more

I have a 2000 Nissan X-Terra that Double D has been helping me maintain since 2008. They first saw it at 160K miles and it now has 250K. I have had a variety of work done, and all done to excellent (I dare say perfect) standards. The most impressive experience I've had with this vehicle and Double D is the straight-forward recommendation when NOT to do work for a car this old. That's integrity. And Double-D has that in abundance. If you've had bad experiences, if you think all automotive shops are swindlers, then you need to be a customer of Double D.
