You get what you pay for! Top notch service with this company from the beginning to the end. I found them by accident; their van was parked outside my condo building and so I gave them a call. Best decision I ever made. Miguel the owner came by and suggested great design ideas, and I had an estimate from Alejandra afterwards. Mariana, the granite specialist worked with me and was very detail oriented and accommodating. Work started a week later. A very organized business when it comes to communication. Here's the best parts of my experience; very timely response from Alejandra-she is pleasant, funny and she gets things done. I think she literally has her cell phone on her hip 24/7. She always answered my calls. She calls every time the workers are at your home. Sergio and his team came in and started the work and cleaned up after each work day. I highly recommend Castle for any painting or remodeling needs! As soon as I requested a quote they came out the very next day and I had a quote within a few hours. (Whereas other companies I had to continuously ask to come out and kept having to go back and forth on what was in the quote.) The quote was very thorough and fairly priced (actually lower than some other quotes.) The service was great with the owner Miguel coming out to talk to me about options, paint colors and other questions I had. They started the project within a week and they truly jumped right in to get it completed quickly. I've never seen a crew work so fast and efficiently, but also highly thorough, neat and polite. We had our house exterior and deck painted and some gutter work done. The finished product looks amazing! People have even stopped to give compliments. The castle crew also cleaned up after themselves, put all deck furniture back, etc. and were always more than responsive to questions (these seem like small things but usually work crews leave trash etc we have to deal with). I've honestly never had better service than I had with Castle. Fast, thorough quoting process, amazing service before and during the project, and a great work product. I saw water on my garage ceiling and discovered that the shower was leaking behind the ceramic wall! . It was only 3 months old! I called Castle Painting to fix the garage ceiling and THEY discovered the problem. The owner, Miguel, came personally to inspect the damage. They redid the whole shower and floor and showed me exactly why it was leaking. The jack@** who remodeled my bathroom did not properly install the plumbing and did not do what I paid them to do. Castle Painting came in and fixed EVERYTHING. I'm still trying to get my money back from the first company. Castle Painting guarantees their work for 5 years. In fact, Miguel followed up with me several times to make sure that the work was being done to my satisfaction. After the last ordeal I was watching and inspecting everything. They did not mind at all! In fact, they were very understanding because of my previous problem. Miguel has called me personally to make sure everything was up to my expectations. It only took 1 week to redo the bathroom. Very professional and not afraid to fix other people's shoddy work. I wish I had found them to do the initial work! Got a quote for painting a new home. (brand new construction). They came out and gave a very detailed quote. To paint a 4000 sq ft home would have been $44,000 and that was only the inside. The exterior was another $26,000. I was able to get this done with the same materials $18,000 from another painter. I hope people are getting other quotes because this guy is ripping people off if they actually go with them. What a joke. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone. The quote was actually very insulting. There was only about $6,000 in materials to paint the whole house. I am sure there was not $65,000 in labor cost. Could have bought a new car for that or maybe that is what Miguel was going to do. read more

I had high hopes but was disappointed with the final product from Castle. I live in a unit with an exposed concrete ceiling with numerous areas of accumulated concrete from the curing period. The main objective of this project was to knock and smooth accumulated areas, then paint it white for a refined look. Miguel came by twice and said that he understood the project. I even pointed to a smooth section of the wall as an example. He guaranteed that his team would take care of everything. His team (while capable) was instructed just to paint the ceiling. I tried to explain to Alejandra numerous times that was not what I agreed on; she said I would have to pay extra to get the job done. If I knew this would be the outcome, I could've painted the ceiling myself. I believe there's a disconnect in communication between the office and their on-site crew because the crew successfully installed an electrical outlet, laid new carpets, retrofitted a few recessed lights, and performed some light drywall work. Their crew needed approval from the office who refused to uphold their end of a project they quoted. I tried to give Castle the benefit of the doubt when I read other negative reviews in the beginning, but I will go elsewhere next time. read more

I had a very different experience and would highly recommend them. The biding process was very professional. They called to let me know they were going to be late, so that was acceptable and responsible to wait about 20 minutes. They gave me a very reasonable bid and estimated two days for the work. The work included painting several ceilings in rooms and two entire rooms. It also included pressure washing the entire house and detached garage. At this point I would not recommend them. I arranged for them to come and give me an estimate to paint the exterior of my house. First they were late by more than an hour to the time they told me they would come for the appointment. They did not say after 2:00PM. They said at 2:00PM. Second, they were very interested in talking to me about more than the requested estimate. They wanted to paint the door, to add shutters, to repaint the carriage house, to give me a reference for a chimney guy who could for sure outbid my chimney damper estimate, and etc. Third, they told me I would be emailed an estimate in 20 minutes and then they would call me back later. I have not heard from them. I found an email address on their website. After emailing a request to hear from them; all they did was to email me a coupon for referring a friend. I still have not received a quote and this all happened 2 days ago. I agree this old house and carriage house have things that need work, but I can not do it all at once. I want a paint job to protect it from the coming winter. read more

Miguel came to our home unexpectedly but just at the right time. We live less than 1 mile away from the Castle building. He came in to analyze the work needed and provided a verbal quote. We also asked him to look at a couple of other areas in the house for future work. He also provided a verbal quote for those. The next day i texted him that we would like him and his team to help us. I didn't hear from him but the next day i received a text saying he would come the next day and finish within one day. Our schedules synced up. I was scared that the cost would be more than the verbal quote since i had nothing on paper. But i trusted him. he came with Philipe and they did exactly as they said they would do. they were professional did not push too much for more changes and did not give me an attitude when i didn't want to do more work. Philipe finished, drywall repairs, paint, and electrical work in 6 hours with only a 30 min lunch (i felt bad). then they cleaned up (at least they tried)! i was impressed. Castle Painting came out to discuss exterior painting, replacing windows and gutters. I received a prompt esitmate from them. I asked for clarification on a couple of the items on the estimate. I never heard from them again. This delayed our project as we had to go back out to interview companies. We are now having the work done by Exovations - could not be happier. read more

I no longer recommend Castle Painting after the experience I recently had with them. In fact, when asked if I know a good painter, I tell people NOT to bother with Castle. Castle did a lot of painting for me two years ago and I was very pleased with their work. Two years ago, great care was taken to protect my floors and furniture and the clean-up after the painting was excellent. So when I bought another house recently and wanted it painted, I chose Castle over the other bidders due to the fine work they had done in the past. The initial customer service was excellent and the promptness of their estimate was exceptional. But that's about where the good stuff ends. I had requested the same painter I had two years ago and was told that he would be available. But the day before the painting was to start, I received a call saying that the requested painter was not available but the one they were sending out was even more particular about his work than the one I asked for. I never should have listened to this and waited on the requested painter! I was told that the painters would probably be at my house for 4 or 5 days but they suddenly wrapped it up in 3.5 days. Upon checking their work, it was apparent the reason. There was extensive touch up required and so they had to return. Two painters worked all day sanding and touching up. Upon checking their work that time, they had left the house a mess with extensive amounts of sheetrock dust on the hardwoods, paint splatters all over the hardwoods, ceiling paint on the walls and wall paint on the ceilings, paint on the bathtub surround, paint in the bathtub, and paint all over the floor. I called the office immediately but the supervisor did not call me back. I called again the next day and only when I became really angry, did the supervisor return my call. He said there was no excuse for them leaving my house in such a mess and he would talk with Miguel and call me on Monday. I had not heard from him by Tuesday so I sent an email to the office. On Wednesday, the office called and offered to have someone come out to clean the floors and the bathroom. The cleaning person was at the house for several hours and still didn't get all the paint off the bathroom or off the floors. Castle never followed up with me and frankly I am done with them. I paid thousands of dollars for the painting and I am very disappointed in what happened at the end. I will never use Castle again and I will never recommend them to anyone again either. There is absolutely no excuse for the condition that they left my house in and their customer service, overall, was abysmal. read more
