The building previously served as city hall, and the basement is the old jail. A highlight of this museum is certainly walking the jail area to see the conditions those accused of crimes were kept in decades ago. My favorite part was the jail that is in the basement. It looks the same way it was when it was operational a hundred years ago. You can even step in the jail and take your picture. I highly recommend the History Center!
