Cakes is a little cute shop off of Jefferson almost hidden but still known. I have nothing but positive things to say about this boutique. Every time I go in there it is a very personal experience. Because there are not many shoppers in the store all at once, maybe two people at a time, the attention is well directed to the customers. It is very easy for one of the storeowners, Patty being one of them, to go into an intimate conversation with you about what you are looking for or honestly anything else that pops up. In addition, the selections are exactly what I am always looking for, chic and dressy. Cakes gest new options in every single week and some of what was not sold will go on sale, which is convenient as well. Cakes Boutique offers many positive reasons for me to keep coming in, for reasons such as personalization and the frequent change and options or adorable and chic clothing/ accessories.
Whenever I go into Cakes Boutique, it is normally Patty who will greet my dad and I. She knows us by know because we go in as much as once every two weeks. Sometimes it will just be my dad and I and sometimes there might be one or two other people as well. F there are other people in the store you will more than likely end up talking to them as well. When I was trying on dresses for my graduation ceremony I had, Patty, my dad, and one of the other shoppers in the store all giving me input on the dresses that I was trying on. As a shopper, I like that because I get a point of view from different people. I like that in cakes you can have an intimate conversation with the owners, and a single other person in the store. It makes the shopping more enjoyable and less boring. I Like the fact that when I go in Patty knows a little bit about me and what I might like, therefor, she is able to point certain things out. Cakes Boutique has that perfect touch of personalization that makes me enjoy going into shop.
Secondly, The selections that they have every week are exactly my style. I get the perfect vibe from all the clothing when I enter the store, almost like its calling my name. My dad, who normally buys the clothes, also loves the clothing in there for me. So when we go in together we always come out with a win. The variety is great but at the same time all my favorite styles. Also, for what is being sold, the price is at a comfortable price rage for me or my dad and other Fort Wayne shoppers as well. The styles go from chic to boohoo and dressy to casual. I got my graduation dress from here and I might add that I love it and I also get school and vacation clothes from cakes. Any event that you are looking for, Cakes Boutique will have a stunning outfit ready for you. I am always confident about going into Cakes and coming out with an outfit that fits my personality as well as price range.
I have had many positive experiences at Cakes and I am pleased with the selections as well as the owners of the store. Patty never fails to give me her honest opinion when I am trying on the ensembles that I have picked out. She throws things my way that I might have missed or that she thinks will look flattering on me and that is the kind of experience that I look for. The merchandise is always laid out and hung to perfection as if no one has ever touched in which makes you feel special like no one else will have the same article of clothing as you. The clothing and accessories fit my personality so well that I always come out of Cakes feeling accomplished rather than lost.
