A True Family Feel and Top-Notch Dental Care!…read more I am back in the chair at Aventura Dental Arts, and I couldn't be happier. My smile is my window to the world, so staying on top of my dental care is incredibly important to me. There is truly no one better to keep me smiling than my favorite, Dr. Laurita! She keeps me on my toes, and her relaxing tune is the perfect distraction while she is taking care of my wide-open mouth. We all need to keep our smiles shining, and both Ms. Queen and Dr. Laurita are absolutely amazing. They make every single visit worthwhile. My girls are doing so well--they always put up with me playfully calling them "Rosita and Martita," and they know it's always done in great jest. I hope you get the pleasure of meeting them someday! Even Javi didn't need any extra money today, so I was just happy to stop by and say hello. If you are looking for a place where people truly care about your health and make you feel right at home, I hope you visit Aventura Dental Arts. You will have an amazing time meeting everyone!

Every step of my experience with Aventura Dental Arts rates as Platinum! From the phone calls to…read morethe first consult, each staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, friendly, courteous and kind. I mostly worked with doctor Larry Grillo and Manny. Manny is an excellent listener and communicator. with every interaction I truly feel, he's had my best interests in mind. For example, I wanted to get as much work as possible done in each visit. so as not to have to return often. Yet Manny made sure i wasn't doing too much work in any single visit as i had debilitating TMJ last year and to much work could retrigger that TMJ. I am the type of patient who can be very functional in real life but becomes a 2-3 year old emotionally in the dentist chair. It's pretty nerve wracking, and I took almost a year off from repairing my mouth because my C-PTSD emotional responses were unpredictable and traumatizing. Paired with my difficult dental issues, it took a lot for me to go into a new dental office. However, I was referred by a very good friend who really felt like I would be treated well and would be able to feel comfortable and relax enough to get said treatment. She was right! I'm very impressed with Dr Grillo's expertise and efficiency during treatment evidenced by pain free appointments and miraculous results. I really was happy and in an excellent mood throughout both of my appointments. The assistant even told me I was an excellent patient which in its own way is hysterical. I owe this practice a lot already as my mouth needed help but I was genuinely too terrified to go get it. From the bottom of my heart, and from the fullest smile I have thank you!!!!!

Dental office on Red Rd within the Veneto Plaza, 6th floor…read more You can park in the lot towards the left side of the building & enter through the side entrance. It may be locked but there's a keypad to dial the office or usually someone will come by and let you in. You take the elevator up to the 6th floor and their office is located all the way at the end of the hallway, last door to the right. Now the you know where to go, I can rave about how much I love this dental office. I've been coming here for years but this was my first time back for a cleaning since 2018. Anxious was an understatement because I know my flossing habits could be better. When you come into the office, everything is super clean and they block off some chairs in the small waiting room to try and help people be at a safe social distance. There is also hand sanitizer available at the front desk. The dental hygienist took my x-rays and proceeded to do a gum number exam. I was a bit inflamed and she warned me that I would bleed during the cleaning. She offered topical anesthesia so it wouldn't be too painful. Thank goodness for that! After my cleaning, I waited for Dr. Henao to check my teeth and explain my x-rays. I absolutely adore her and am never terrified to see her, even with bad flossing habits. She did an exam and went over any concerns I had. I asked for some advice on the best toothbrush to use and was thankful that she gave very simple instructions. Sometimes I feel like dental offices try to sell the latest electric toothbrushes or water piks but she just said to keep up good habits while using a soft brush. A quick and easy visit, my favorite kind! I have also gotten cavity fillings here before and nobody loves those but I remember being very grateful with how they handled it. That needle is big but they care for all their patients with a gentle hand. So grateful for this office & all of its staff!

They're open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and they only accept appointments. Scheduling is very accurate, and if you're already waiting in the waiting room, the dental hygienist will take you in much earlier. I want to give a special shout-out to Idy, one of the tenderhearted dental hygienist. It was her first time doing my teeth, and she was quick, efficient, and was very informative. One of my bottom teeth were in pain, and she did immediate x-rays. Idy couldn't pinpoint what was causing the pain, so her and the doctor were going to look into it and let me know the following day. It shows how much she cares about helping her patients. I feel at ease when she cleans my teeth, and she doesn't pressure me into buying tooth products. The team works hard to get the job done and makes sure that their patients leave with no worries on their mind.
