They're a pain in the ass to deal with" and was left with an "OK... bye." No willingness to work with my plan or even a cash-payment option (which I've done before with chiropractors when I didn't have great insurance), and not the slightest concern of what my condition was. Also, I didn't expect to hear swearing from a practitioner within my first 2 minutes of introducing myself. I feel like that's Baseline Professionalism 101. I'm giving it 2 stars only because I haven't actually gotten chiropractic care from them, and I'm not one to blast a business without the full experience. For all I know, they have the magic touch and are miracle healers. However, first impressions mean a lot, and the pretentious attitude from the staff I spoke with suggests that they're interested in easy money over helping people in pain. My guess is they probably have a baseline of patients and don't feel like dealing with the new intake process very much. Either way, its not really worth it when there's plenty of good chiropractors around here.

It was mostly talking. I went home still in pain. I went back three days later and he didn't remember me. Additionally, the appointment was 12 minutes from start to finish and he focused on the wrong side of my neck. I was severely confused. I asked for itemized statements. I received one from the prior visit and was asked to pay $30. My deductible was met and I was confused bc my co-insurance was only 10% (the statement showed it was less than $300). My EOB showed $19.94 so I was confused why they were expecting $30. Thankfully I challenged it. The third time I came in the receptionist was rude and demanded I pay a "co-pay" before I had my visit although I have a $0 copay. Mind you, I had no problem paying, I simply wanted to see invoices. I asked her again and she couldn't provide them to me. She said she will email them. A week later I still haven't received them. I cancelled my follow up appointment and won't be returning.

First impressions are everything and the receptionist was too busy to get me started with a new patient appointment. She told me to wait for her at the back door so she could give me paperwork to fill out. Good thing I sat down because 13 minutes later she was still doing other things like talking on the phone getting a payment instead of getting me checked in. Finally, i get ushered back into an exam room and the nurse puts a sliver of protective paper over where I am supposed to put my face on the most hideous chair I have ever seen. It must be from the 60's and the leather is almost completely worn off and full of super old foam. Eww. There is no way I was gonna lay down on that thing, and I had to wonder if they don't care about the chair, do they care about the patient in it? I didn't want to find out. Update: Thank you for the response but I am looking for a healthcare provider that provides a comfortable, safe facility conducive to my healing and that includes aesthetically pleasing rooms and enough office staff to make it a welcoming first encounter. Thanks and good luck to your reupholstered chairs.

Both are very willing to help you out and care for your chiropractic needs whether immediate or preemptive. Another thing I like is that her waiting area/room is large and airy and you don't feel like sardines squeezed into a small space which can be uncomfortable in this day and age when people are more mindful of catching an illness when in close proximity to others. You can't really go wrong with Dr Joint and I hope you will consider giving her office a try.

Unfortunately we had to drive from the Pittsburgh area to Syracuse New York for a family event that evening. Almost immediately he felt so much better and the remainder of the drive my husband was more comfortable. Talk about great customer service!!! Thank you so much!!!!
