It is inviting from the outside. When I walked in, I was greeted, shown a seat, and escorted to a coat rack to hang up my coat. It wasn't an overly enthusiastic greeting; but it was friendly and seemed appropriate. Despite having several people already waiting who were ahead of me "in queue," it wasn't long before I was shown a seat and asked what I wanted. I explained it and then the barber went to work...and he gave me the best haircut I have ever had at a barbershop. He did a fantastic job. I'll definitely be back, and probably next week. I highly recommend Karizma. Note: I didn't go into detail about how Turkish barbershop services are different than the average barbershop. If you don't know, do a search on Google.

Lost all appetite for it when I saw 15 euro tariff up on Turkish barbers in Oliver Plunket Street, saying to myself I'd go local at Dillon's Cross or Mayfield. But, on my way to view excellent selection of rock photos in Cork Vision Centre in North Main Street, spotted Crew Cuts (more or less opposite Bradley's, my unofficial bottled beer supplier). Called in, joined in the conversation about a customer's baby (who was with his mother and looking on interestedly), and got a decent cut for just 8 euro. Shop around, said Mary Harney.
