When I contacted him and answered my stressful call, he was compassionate and eager to assist. He walked me through trying to explain my complicated issue and even allowed me to FaceTime and show him my problem. He even offered other solutions and qualified businesses if the issue was not resolved. Tyrell had a technician come out to evaluate the problem which turned out to be a VERY dangerous situation!! He advised the technician to shut off the power and he also came to fix this labor intensive job. It was a really cold day and they both worked through it as fast as possible to restore the power. On a Friday afternoon, I reached out to ~5-7 vendors to assess a broken HVAC in a DC condo. Ricardo was able to come out IMMEDIATELY at 8PM on a Friday night. He did a quick dusting of the unit which hadn't been serviced in a while and even went to the roof as a part of his diagnosis. After sticking around for a couple hours trying to find the source of the problem, I was mentally preparing myself to pay a diagnosis and service fee, but there was no such thing. What signaled to me Ricardo was top notch was the fact that this man lives in Baltimore, easily a 50-minute commute from where I was in DC. He didn't leave until I was satisfied with his work until 930PM on a FRIDAY night. This type of service is difficult if not impossible to find. Ricardo patiently explained what the problem was, why I wouldn't have working AC after he would leave, and what my options were. He was very transparent with pricing, sent over a couple of quotes, and laid out what install schedules would look like depending on which manufacturer I went with. He and his team came in Tuesday and the install lasted about 7 hours. Fully working AC in less than 2 business days at a reasonable and competitive price. You cannot beat that.

I rarely write yelp reviews but these guys deserve it…read more With any service company (plumbers, contractors, etc.) you expect to be charged at a high rate, regardless if any work is done during the estimate (because you're paying for their expertise). These guys were not like that. They could've charged an exorbitant service fee for coming to my boyfriends home on a weekend for a partial power outage (within 4 hours of us calling), but when they came and realized it was an issue with the utility company, they didn't charge him anything. The quick turnaround, honesty in their work, and willingness to help others in a pinch really sets them apart. We called nearly 20 electricians that day with most asking for somewhere around $160 for 30 min plus travel time at a minimum or for us asking for an appointment next week. They took our call right away and although they seemed lax on the phone, it's clear they knew what they were doing and understood the issue we were trying to communicate. It's not even my house, but if I need anything I'm calling them first and my boyfriend will do the same. Added bonus: this is a veteran-owned business.
