    Cason's Tap Room!

Callaway Gardens Resort & Spa is a excellent "local but a true get away". Their restaurants serve up delicious mouth watering food. Waitress and Bartender provide great customer service. Martini cocktail was awesome. Everyone in my group had a delightful time. Happy vibes and nice decor was everywhere. We love the outdoor tables with fire pits!!

We finished up our massage and decided to try Cason's because it was within walking distance. It was great that they had outdoor options as the weather was perfect! Our waitress came to our table quickly and refilled our drinks frequently. We decided to try the Brussels sprouts with the blue cheese, bacon and balsamic vinegar and they had a lot of flavor. I ordered the fried green tomato sandwich and it was delicious. The pepper jelly really made that sandwich. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it's one of the best she's ever had. We will definitely be going back.

I give Cason's Tap Room 3 stars, or "A-OK." My family and I dined here tonight while staying at the Callaway Lodge. The food was pretty good for the prices, the service was just below average. I ordered the Seared Salmon Sandwich and loved it. It's served on Texas Toast and is a perfect combination of flavors. The fries are also very tasty. I had a taste of my friend's Shrimp & Grits, and it was definitely the better of the two dishes. Super flavorful! I would probably order that if I came here again. Our server was kind but seemed like she wanted to stay at our table as short as possible. I think she came by a total of 4 times during our whole meal, even after we waited 10 minutes after sitting down for her to come. I try to be as understanding as possible on staff shortages and servers being overwhelmed, but the restaurant wasn't super crowded so I feel like she could have done a better job. The food did come our reasonably quickly, though. We just never got refills or anything like that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant, just know you may have to wait a little bit.

We have really enjoyed this patio venue during our visit to the Gardens. We come for a cocktail around 5:30 followed by a light supper most frequently of the killer Mediterranean flatbread which os consistently absolutely delicious. On one occasion we shared a burger that was very tasty and enjoyable. The Old Fashioned here is poured with a splash of soda water so, if like me, you're not a fan of a soda Old Fashioned be sure to request it sans soda. The bar will happily pour per your request.

Very surprised at the other reviews for this restaurant. My girlfriends and I had a great experience here. It's located at the Lodge and Spa at Callaway gardens. It was open post covid so patrons needed to wear masks as they walked through the dining room but could remove them when they got to their table. They have craft cocktails, a nice wine list and a few beers that they brew. Our server made every effort to make it a wonderful dining experience for the 4 of us. We sat at a table in the patio. We ordered a charcuterie board to begin with which had delicious blue cheese (my favorite) and meats. For my main meal I had the filet mignon with garlic butter over asparagus , my girlfriend had the salmon. All of our meals were excellent and the staff was very friendly.

This is located on the inside of the Callaway Gardens Hotel. Typical pub fare with deep fryer on the constant run. I requested 3 different wines on the menu and they were out of them all. So i shifted gears to the beer- the beer is very mediocre. You'd think in a pub with craft beers blazing glory in GA, they would keep a few of the darker beers, ales, maybe a porter in house? Nope. The lagers were A-OK, I would not return for the beer. They got 3 starts for the service. I would come back for the cheese plate, the accommodations made for my choices, the OUTSTANDING waitress we had who left no stone unturned to make the experience still memorable. Unfortunately if you stay at the gardens hotel, this might be your best bet to get booze so you are kinda stuck with what they have to offer.

It took over an hour to get our food. Great live music. Professional & courteous waiter. Mussels were sub par. Will not return.

Don't bother, tried to eat here before a visit to see the lights and was disappointed with the rude attitude of the staff.

When I search reviews on a business before going, I don't just accept them at face value, but rather, read them and determine if the reviewers are just entitled brats. lol Now that being said: here we go... ha ha This place was the worst experience I can recall with a business in nearly 50 years of life. It was very cold outside, and looking at the online pics looked like it was open-air seating only. So I called them to ensure there was also indoor seating at this cool looking bar. It was 8pm. The man reassured us there were indoor seating options. He then asked "are ya'll coming tonight?" I replied that we were. He then said "how long?" I then asked what time they closed. He replied at 10pm. A little perplexed, I let him know we were on the way. Red flag #1. I told my husband I didn't want to feel rushed out the door if they were trying to close early and didn't really get the vibe they wanted our business. He suggested we just give them a try anyway. When we pulled up, we noticed maybe 3 cars in the parking lot of this very big property. Red flag #2. As we entered the hotel, the gentleman asked us if we called about the bar. We said yes and he directed us to the entrance doors. The entrance was essentially the exit... to the outdoors. HAHA It was approx 40 degrees outside. As my husband and I looked a little perplexed, a female approached where we were standing, never even looked at us or acknowledged us in ANY way and said to the gentleman, "WHAT DO THEY WANT?" He informed her we were there for the bar. We asked where the indoor seating was. Y'ALL... this man took us back in the hotel lobby and pointed at the lobby area. You want us to eat a late dinner and have drinks at this cool looking bar, but in actuality we sit where patrons eat their continental breakfast and are served by someone who has all but said "why are you here?" What?? So... my husband and I said no thank you and went to Cowboy Town which is a very short drive away. Please go there instead. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment. But it needs to be seasonal only and absolutely closed the remainder of the year. Bless it. I do believe the reviews you see are mostly BS. Please pay very close attention to the details of them.

It is in the building with the golf shop right next to the place where you start your golfing adventure. It is just to the west of Mr Cason's Garden. You have to pay to get into the park and you need a key card to get into the parking lot unless you walk. We were visiting the gardens and decided to rent a golfcart for a day. This location is where you pick them up and return them so we decided to get a bite to eat. That is how we found Champion's Grille. It was a little space next to the pro shop. There are a few tables inside and some outside. The one person manning the counter was very nice. The menu is pretty basic but they have the essentials of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wings, wraps, burgers, fries and drinks. We ordered and got our burger and french fries very quickly. The burger was good although I was not a fan of the fries. The sandwiches and burgers were $15-$20 so it is a little more expensive than local but it was good. Overall, it is a nice place to get a bite in the middle of the gardens or before or after your golf game. Enjoy.

The menu had more drink options than actual food options. It was very chicken, burger, and salad heavy so not too much variation. Literally your choices were either a burger or a sandwich. I opted for the chicken ranch rap with a side of tater tots which was actually really good. I recommend getting ranch on the side as well too because the wrap was a little dry but not unbearable. The tater tots were delicious though. Lovely view of the greenery and decent service as well
