As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself filled with gratitude for Oakwell Private Wealth…read moreManagement -- not just as a firm, but as people who have truly become part of our extended family. There is something incredibly vulnerable about trusting someone with your parents' financial future, your own future, and the well-being of people you love. Oakwell does not take that responsibility lightly. The time, care, and genuine attention they give to each client goes far beyond what you would ever expect from a traditional wealth management firm. They don't treat people like accounts or numbers -- they treat them like family. When our parents begin to age, the greatest gift we hope to give them is peace. Peace that they will be cared for. Peace that their health, lifestyle, and dignity will never be compromised by financial fear. Oakwell has provided that for my parents, and in turn, they have given me the priceless comfort of knowing they are safe, secure, and guided by people who truly have their best interests at heart. I have referred many clients to Oakwell during some of their most fragile moments -- especially those who have lost a spouse and suddenly feel alone in navigating complex financial decisions. What I have witnessed in those moments is nothing short of remarkable. Oakwell steps in not just with knowledge, but with compassion, patience, and genuine human connection. They listen. They explain. They reassure. They build confidence -- slowly and carefully -- until fear is replaced with understanding and trust. Touchstone and his team take the time to know their clients, their stories, their goals, and their fears. That level of personal investment is rare. Over time, it creates something truly special -- a relationship built on consistency, care, and trust. They don't feel like "advisors." They feel like a steady presence, like family members who are looking out for you when life feels uncertain. Even when the markets become unpredictable and others around me are panicking, I feel calm. I know I can focus on my own area of expertise and trust that my financial future is being thoughtfully managed by people who are deeply committed to doing what is right. Their role as fiduciaries reinforces everything they already demonstrate through their actions -- honesty, transparency, and loyalty to their clients' best interests. Oakwell is not just managing wealth. They are protecting futures, preserving dignity, and providing stability when it is needed most. For my family, and for the many people I care about who I have sent their way, Oakwell has become an irreplaceable source of comfort, guidance, and trust. And for that, I am truly thankful.

From our very first conversation, Oakwell created a space that felt safe, respectful, and genuinely judgment free. There was never pressure, assumptions, or a sense of being talked down to--only patience and understanding. They don't just tell you what to do. They take the time to educate, explain, and guide you so you truly understand your options and feel confident in your decisions. Every recommendation feels thoughtful and tailored. What has meant the most to me is how intentional they are about knowing us. They ask about our family, major life events, and changing circumstances, and they remember those details. They check in, follow up, and ask the right questions at the right times to make sure our plan continues to reflect who we are and what matters most to us. There is a deep sense of care behind everything they do. Oakwell helps take something that is stressful and sensitive for so many people and turns it into a process that feels calm, manageable, and aligned with our life. I am truly grateful for their guidance, their patience, and the peace of mind they've brought to our family.
