When I first called Paul up, he was very kind and we hit it off like two old high school buddies, talking about life as we addressed business. It was a low-key affair which made me feel comfortable. He's an agent who's able to make you feel like "you're in good hands." I do have a question which has irritated me since I started paying insurance so many years ago which is the following: If insurance is required by law, then why are they allowed to pay actors and actresses millions of dollars in competition with other insurance companies for my money? I think anything that is federally mandated shouldn't be allowed to advertise and have a profit cap. Just my two cents. As for prices it's very hard to compare plans as there's so many different details that can change things. That said, what I pay falls in line with what I paid for in Kansas and Charlotte with one of their competitors. In my not so professional opinion, I would advise anyone seeking new insurance to spend the time and compare all carriers as they have customized options which change the price so it's hard to recommend what's the best. I will say that I emailed him that I was leaving the state to move to SC and cancelling my account. I still got emails for a bill and once another agent called me to get my money, I told her my situation. Not only did the incorrect emails stop, but I actually got a great refund for money I already spent. I very much appreciate a refund when I wasn't expecting it, which means they operate in a respectable manner. Overall, Paul and his office will treat you well and give you the coverage you need. Every time I had to talk to him, he was kind and addressed my issues quickly. I have full confidence in Allstate and Paul Guerrero's branch will treat you fairly and give you great coverage.
