I have had insurance with the Brown Insurance Group for 4+ years. In the beginning service was great. As time went on, I am not sure if the high turnover at his office or what caused everything to go downhill. It seems in the recent years Cory and his staff's service has declined quite a bit. I would not recommend this insurance group unless you want a million headaches and wasted time and also shady business. I just ended my policy and moved to Goosehead. After talking with the owner of the Brown Insurance Group, Cory Brown, I decided to switch my insurance from a different carrier, because Cory and his team were able to identify many gaps in my current auto insurance policy. They took the time to explain the coverage I currently had with another company and then showed me how I could either increase my coverage for relatively the same price when I switched to Nationwide, or I could switch to nationwide and keep a similar plan but pay less for my premium. I decided to switch to nationwide but to increase my coverage in certain areas and my premium still came out less expensive than with my previous insurance company. The process was very easy, my agent was Adam and he was super friendly and helped answer all of my questions! It only took one day and I was all set up! Probably the worst experience I have had in my insurance life time. Effective dates of January with Nationwide and I'm still fighting a mess with my bank-adding over $1200 per vehicle for what they call premium insurance. No one decided to tell the bank I changed insurance and they kindly bought another policy for me. Now it's almost May and my new insurance company said that I didn't have full coverage on any of my 4 vehicles at Nationwide. Not surprised!! Cancel date is 27th read more

Cory was great when I first met him and he went out of his way to earn my business. Too bad once he had it I never heard from him, could barely get him to return my calls, and his office took up to two weeks to return an email request. I will not be using Cory for my insurance anymore and will be going with another company whose agents are not just salespeople with no customer service after the point of sale. Kevin Ward is my agent and I have never had a better one. I went from having the high prices of progressive to the lowest cost with nationwide. I was with the other company for almost 5 years but I was sick of there high prices!!! Kevin has been with me on the phone constantly letting me nag him with every question imaginable. I do tend to nag a lot but I do like to ask questions it is my nature. I just wanted to make sure I was understanding all the different type of things we could and could not get or what me and my daughter did not need. They don't try to give you stuff you don't need and Kevin recommended stuff he thought would be want is in our best interest. I liked the other review that i read, nationwide does care for its customers a lot!!! I can surely attest to all the countless hours and days Kevin worked with me by my side and my daughters to get the best possible coverage and we finally nailed it down. He was very patient with me especially and worked his hardest to make time for us and give us the best possible care. They really are not trying to reel you in they really care about the customer and take precious time even away from there labor day weekend to get you the best policy.
