We are selling and buying. The escrow on the other end was handled seamlessly. The escrow with OSN…read morewas a mess. Agents who don't know anything or make mistakes that cost us time and money. The agent handling our sale never had any solid answers, always her response was she didn't know. When I called and escalated on the errors and the delay, they blamed the HOA, they blamed FedEx, and they even blamed the County Recorder. Knowing that we were falling behind, and that our rate guarantee on the other house would expire, they sent a notary who made errors and then shipped the papers via FedEx standard shipping instead of same day pushing us back a day. They said that the county I am in is the slowest county to record. I don't believe that. EVERYONE on these deals were waiting on them. At 9:34 this morning they received all of the paperwork but didn't file with the county for several hours until they missed the wire deadline. That cost us more money. When they said we did not have to use this escrow company, we should have opted to pick another. Hopefully the funds will be wired early today.
