Stopped in about 10 minutes before closing to sell a gold wedding band. Despite arriving late, I was welcomed in and never felt rushed. The employee took the time to test and weigh the ring, explained the process, and gave me a straightforward offer. I had already received an offer from another local buyer, and Cash For Gold offered nearly twice as much. I can't say whether it was the absolute highest offer available anywhere in Northern Virginia, but it felt fair, transparent, and professional. The transaction was quick, the payment was immediate, and the entire experience was much better than I expected. If you're selling gold, I would definitely recommend stopping here and getting a quote. read more

Cash For Gold - Gold Buyers Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

I recently visited this cash-for-gold shop right outside my neighborhood, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. If you're looking to sell gold or silver in Fairfax, this is the place to go. The staff was incredibly honest and transparent. Unlike other shops, they took the time to explain the evaluation process, showing me the weight and purity of my items right there. They offered a very fair price based on current market rates. It's rare to find a business that prioritizes customer education over a quick sale. I will definitely be back for any future transactions! read more

We got a fair offer for 18 karat gold jewelry. The agent was very clear about the weights and values. He analyzed the gold content with scientific instruments. read more

I just went to the Annandale location today and had a good experience with the agent. I sold a few pieces of gold jewelry (14K) that was beyond repair. The agent was knowledgeable, explained and gave a fair offer. He even talked me out of selling one very light weight piece because it was worth more to hold onto it (craftsmanship to re-make) rather than sell at this point. He uses an x-ray fluorescence scanner to determine metal composition, i.e. percent gold (or other metals), then weighs the item to determine the offer. He also showed the website that he uses to determine the current price for gold (or other metals), which actually fluctuates minute-to-minute. I would definitely deal with him again. read more

I received 3-4 "estimates" from area silver buyers (estimates in quotes because they all gave me lengthy excuses for their complete lack of transparency). I was so pleased to discover Ali and his no-nonsense, professional approach to a transaction that - as he took the time to carefully explain it - is simple math not rocket science. He was quick, fair, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Ali. read more

I had a few pieces that I hadn't used in a while. Therefore, I decided to sell them. I got a really good estimate. Once I agreed to the amount, the employee proceeded to test the items. I was in and out in about 20-25 min. The employee was very nice and professional. I got a check and left very happy. I highly recommend going to this establishment to seek your gold. read more

First and foremost, I have been in situations where I needed money but hate pawn shops. For example, an ounce of gold above $2000 Royal Pawn offered me $300. I couldn't believe it. I then looked around and spent a day driving from cash for gold to various pawn shops all over Northern Virginia. I met Ali, who is a full-time employee at CASH FOR GOLD. Located off of 7762 Columbia Pike, Annandale, Virginia: Phone number 571-290-8020 The setup is very simplistic. You bring what you wish to sell, they check the validity of the precious metals, once verified, pull up their proprietary software, and show you exactly what they're doing and how they're figuring out the money they will pay. Gold is 90%, and silver is 85%, which is the best I could find anywhere. I refuse to go anywhere else other than to them. It is a place with exemplary workers, fast, efficient, and fair, who always take great care of the consumers. I forgot to take pictures; however, ALI is the man who asks for him when you go in read more

I recently visited this establishment to sell some old gold jewelry, and I couldn't be happier with my experiences. The owner, Ali, was simply fantastic from start to finish. He purchased my items at fair market value and explained the entire process to me, step by step. I had a lot of questions, and Ali was patient, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout all our exchanges. He took the time to educate me on the value of my items and the process of melting down gold. Many of my pieces contained semi-precious gemstones that I wished to keep. While I am certain this was mutually beneficial, nevertheless, I was impressed with Ali's willingness to remove the gemstones carefully so as to inflict no damage and return them to me. What really stood out to me was Ali's willingness to answer any question I had, no matter how basic or complex. He made me feel comfortable and respected as a customer, and I appreciated his graciousness and fine manners. Overall, I highly recommend Cash for Gold-located on Columbia Pike in Annandale, Virginia in a neighborhood my friends and I refer to as "Koreatown" because of the abundance of impressive Korean eateries-for anyone looking to sell their gold jewelry. Ali's exceptional customer service and fair purchase prices are a winning combination that cannot be beaten. Thank you for the wonderful experiences, Cash for Gold! read more

Bought a necklace out of state and wife didn't like it. Went around to multiple places to try to get the most money back. Most places like jewelers and pawn shops offered me half what I paid for the necklace. They gave me essentially the full price of the product back. He then explains the reasoning behind the pricing and guides me through the process thoroughly. Even though there wasn't anything to buy, the services they offer cannot be beat anywhere else. read more

You cannot find a better, more professional jeweler in the area. Tom does excellent work, and his prices are excellent. The turn around time for a sizing or a repair is days, not weeks like so many other jewelers and recently he repurposed a piece of jewelry for me while I waited. read more
