They took care of the whole process from towing the car to informing when it was done. The work was professional and went through all the details what was involved and also pointed to me that there was small tear in car seat and would have been more costly to fix it then just leave it since it was at not so visible and unused part of the seat. They followed up with me after a week to find out if I found anything wrong with the car. I would definitely recommend it and is worth every penny.

This company is really a one-man-band, and he has been in the business for 10 years. It seems his style of business is that he only finds clean-titled cars from auctions. Some may have had some previous damage, but nothing to brand the title. He gave us a free copy of the CARFAX. I can only imagine he would be willing to email you the CARFAX if you called him. Very amiable man. Any car he buys with damage is fixed with certified mechanics, but he was still very willing to allow us to take it to a near-by AAA mechanic (Pacific Auto Service - great reviews on Yelp) for a pre-purchase inspection. Everything turned out just as expected from Ramin's explanation of the vehicle. We were sold. Really great experience, and seems like a guy to go out of his way to give you good business (not aggressive, just willing to please if you have a question). If you are deciding to look at one of his cars, know that this is a trust worthy man to do business with. I would still inspect it, of course, and it will just give you more assurance of Ramin's reliability.

We have a 1999 car that we really love so much that it's like a part of the family. As one would…read moreexpect, over the years we have had to perform routine maintenance such as, break jobs, fan belt replacements, filter servicing, tire rotation/replacement, tune-ups and some cosmetics. Usually these were spread out over time, and we could squeeze the costs into our budget; that was up until a couple of months ago when we had a number of problems that occurred all at once. We brought the car into a shop right around the corner from our house in Lemon Grove, and after a few days (and a few hundred dollars) in that shop, we got the car back only to have the car break down again. When we brought it back to that shop, they said that they had misdiagnosed the problem, and that we would have to spend another $800 to get it fixed! We were stunned, and when one of our friends said to take it to Alle Auto Repair in National City, we decided to give them a try...And we were glad we did! Alle accepted the car, and the office manager gave us a ride back home. The problem with the car was difficult to figure out, the local shop had (needlessly) replaced the fuel regulator for $180, then, when that did not solve the problem, they recommended tp do a complete head/valve jobs, which would have run another $800. So I was worried about what Alle's shop would determine. The mechanics at Alle's shop carefully analyzed this illusive (the symptoms would only occur when the car had been driven for a while) problem, and they told me to come back the next day, to hear their recommendations. They used a state-of-the- art diagnostic device to systematically isolate the problem, then they strategically placed a pressure gauge on the suspect part and observed a pressure fluctuation which confirmed that the fuel pump, though nominally functioning was failing under a certain set of operating conditions. As a chemical engineer, I was very impressed by the scientific approach they used with the electronic diagnostic device and the rigorous follow through which allowed me to confidently approve their $250 estimate for a replacement fuel pump, and we had the car back the next day.. Problem gone! Hands down the best shop for auto repair I have encountered 5 Stars For Sure!!

I rarely write reviews but I want to right a wrong today. As they say, "bad things happen to good…read morepeople". This is the case here. The gentleman in the review below, Mr Edward Tilbury is the owner of carbonfiberhoods.com. He is also a spoiled individual whose 1 star reviews on yelp represent more than half of his total 60 reviews. Check for yourself. This is not a normal behavior but rather a vindictive one. I kept my silence for months but I can't anymore. He simply wants to blackmail GSR. The story is as follows: I bought 3 cars from GSR. I had great transactions, superior service and excellent follow up with them. I referred my friends to him for high value cars (A Tesla and a Range Rover). He ended up going physically with them 5 times from San Diego to LA at NO charge. After buying another car, I decided to sell my Lotus. Naturally, I contacted GSR and they agreed to market the car for me as a valued customer of theirs, something they never do usually. Mr Tilbury expressed interest and reserved a plane ticket to come in town to buy it. Unfortunately, my other car got flooded the same week and as much as it pained me, I had to cancel the sale as I needed the Lotus. I apologized profusely to Mr Tilbury and refunded him the plane ticket via paypal immediately. I also cancelled my clinic for two hours to explained the situation to him the situation by phone. I offered to reimburse him for his time and troubles so that we can all move on. He declined insisting to buy the car which by now was back to being my daily driver. I explicitly informed him that: 1-GSR was the middle man and as such his reviews were unfair towards a company that had assisted both of us to the best of their ability. As such, the transaction was between me and him and they should be left out of it. 2-the car was NOT for sale but that in the event I were to offer it for sale again, I promised that he would be the first to know. I absolutely did not have to do that yet wanted to be helpful to a person who seemed to genuinely enjoy cars. He expressed agreement and asked whether he could call me later to inquire whether I had changed my mind and wanted to sell. I agreed and told him to text me at the end of summer in August or Sep. I had no intention to sell the car but if by then, I had changed my mind, then I would let him know. I get surprise by his texting me on July 27th, at which time I politely stated that I did not want to sell the car. In a twisted way, he unfairly and unexplicably went onto rating GSR (which has nothing to do with the transaction) a 2 star review. I highly discourage anyone from interacting with Mr Tilbury or buy from his company. Can honestly say that interacting with this gentleman is an undue stress and burden on anyone.
