CYBERSTALKING WARNING- READ TO THE END…read more My sons and I went here a month or so ago. When our pizza was brought to our table, I made an offhand joke to the short latino young man that served us (I forget his name), saying something like he wasn't as pretty as the waitresses that work there. He immediately got visibly angry and called me weird in front of my sons, and told me my joke was inappropriate. A sensitive, entitled little snowflake, quick to melt, who can't take a joke. So I left a google review saying the pizza is good but the service was terrible. In all reality, the pizza is wildly overpriced, $30 for a large specialty pizza, and quite pedestrian- I've honestly had better frozen pizza- Screaming Sicilian is MUCH better than this place, and Digiorno is about on par. Apparently their social media handler replied to my review, saying that I had made inappropriate comments about children's bodies? And that ownership of the restaurant stood behind the waiter's meltdown. This level of vitriol... I urge you to never trust a bitefull of food from a kitchen that is so resentful and... vengeful. I can't imagine they turn out a wholesome, clean food product with angry little egos such as the one possessed by our server and their social media person that represent them. The face of the company betrays the inner workings. ANYWAY, that was over a month ago. I left the bad review, recieved a childish, twisted, accusatory response, and I let it drop. I have more important things to do. TODAY, I logged in to Facebook and some random cyberstalker commented on something I posted, saying, "well if it isn't the guy who makes inappropriate comments at a restaurant and leaves bad reviews". Of course I immediately blocked the rando, but think of that- if you say something that happens to offends someone in this restaurant, they will cyberstalk you. If they will go to that length, what passive agressive thing will they do with your credit card information, or to your food order? ...Just food for thought that is not safe for human consumption

The ability to customize the toppings was a win but they vary in price so be aware of that. We added black olives. They have various spices and such you can add. The salt at the table has a great texture to it. They also have garlic powder, fresh ground pepper, oregano, herbed sprinkle cheese and chili pepper flakes. Such a great experience overall. The salads were well dressed and flavorful. The Caesar salad dressing was fresh and vibrant. The Mediterranean was crisp and light. Both had a good amount of fresh lettuce and cheese. My husband and I had a hard time choosing which we liked better. We each also had a cheesecake. I had the Oreo flavor and my husband had the seasonal caramel apple. Service: 5/5 Katie was attentive and friendly. She kept our beverages filled and checked in with us throughout the meal in an unobtrusive way. She was knowledgeable about the menu and history of the restaurant when we asked. She also recommended the addition of the shaker Oregano, which was a subtle but wonderful addition to our pizza. Ambiance: 5/5 Colorful and wonderful. Very chill vibes!

I guess I didn't care for the sauce. I got the white sauce with chicken mushroom and garlic, I could barely taste the garlic. I got the Caesar salad but it definitely did not have Caesar dressing, I'm not sure what dressing it was but the salad was good just not the dressing I was expecting. My sister liked the crust ok but loved her red sauce and her toppings. Soda was great and so was the iced tea. The highlight of my visit was the sweet waitress and the atmosphere of the restaurant and the decor!

I think Ziggy's is at the top of the list for "best local pizza stops." Our family of 4 frequents…read moreZiggy's and we have eaten there more times than I can possibly count over the years. We've eaten at all 4 locations and rarely have negative experiences...in fact, it's never been "bad." I will start off by saying, if you want consistency, the College Hill Clifton Square location is their best in my opinion. The other locations are the only places where things haven't been as consistent...and again, it's never been "bad." There are 3 things that make a good pizza; quality fresh ingredients, dough taste/quality, and the bake. Ziggy's delivers on all of these. I've never had a complaint with the quality or freshness of the ingredients. The dough flavor is really good, and you can tell that it's made fresh every morning, and the pizzas are well baked with the cook almost always being perfect. There was one visit, I believe at the east location, where one of the pizzas was pretty significantly underbaked, with soggy wet crust on the bottom. When I brought this up to the manager, they immediately had them bake us not one, but BOTH of our pizzas fresh so we could still eat at the same time, and they took one off the ticket. The only other time I've had slight issues were simply with how the pizza was assembled...as if it were in a rush and ingredients were just thrown on instead of placed, or the cheese not going to the edge, leaving too much sauce exposed. These occurrences have been rare and do not warrant the removal a star, because there is not a business on the planet who hasn't made mistakes, and Ziggy's has proven how well they can recover. I've tried every specialty pizza on the menu except for the Mamacita, because Mexican pizza shouldn't exist. The Kickin Chicken and Meat Me are my wife and I's favorites, and their pepperoni is my kids' favorite of anywhere in town. They claim their cheese pizza is the best in Wichita, and though it is very good, I just prefer more on my pizza than just cheese. I've gotten a few sandwiches in the past and they're good, but I wouldn't go there just for a sandwich, as there are better places in town for that, and as many times as I've "meant" to try their wings, I still haven't. The baked pretzel sticks are our favorite thing on the appetizer The atmosphere of Ziggy's is great, but again, there's just something about that College Hill location that feels more special than the others. Part of it is just that Clifton Square is a neat area, but part of it is the locations "hidden gem" feel. The restaurants are always clean and I've never seen anything to cause me concern. The service has always been friendly, but depending on the location and how busy they are it can take a few minutes before you get service. That said, I've gone plenty of times over my (1 hr) lunch break and never had an issue getting in-and-out on time. In terms of cost, Ziggy's is a great value. Their pizzas are perfect for an individual with an appetite to eat alone or for 2 to share...we generally order 2 pizza's for myself, my wife, and our 2 kids (5-7yo) and it's the perfect amount...my wife and I share one and I generally finish off a slice or two of the kids' pizza, and it generally costs us right around $30 to eat there if we're just ordering pizza. I love to eat out and support local business, and it's always satisfying to find a local restaurant who doesn't just rely on "local loyalty" to succeed but actually produces great food.
