This is how god the pizza is at this joint..

I don't give 4 stars easy, but this place is great. A Wichita Staple for years, great food, good service! Get some-

This USED to be my favorite pizza place, but now every order I make has a problem. They lose my order or they don't make my pizza because they ran out of the topping in my order; they charge me twice and then lose my credit. Today they gave me the stingiest topping ever. It's almost one piece of topping per slice. I've become very disenchanted with the E Central Knolla's.

Our family lives in Andover and It used to be Worth It to us to drive about 20 minutes to get a pizza From Knollas. But the last time we for pizza from them it was just luke warm by the time we got home. I didn't pick up last time, so I decided to check upon arrival. Well the first thing that took me aback was that my total for two large pizzas and 1 medium was $72.41 I didn't remember when pizza got that expensive.. lol. I asked the girl at the take out counter how much each pizza was and she replied that each large was $23.50 and the medium was $18.50. Whoa. We called it in and didn't realize, but okay.. at least we were getting a good pizza, right? I was leaving a $2 tip (since they ask on their screen, even though I was picking up) and as I grab the boxes I realize they are cold to the touch. So I look at her and say "pizzas are going to be hot, right?" To which she replied "they should be..." so I open up one box and touch the pizza. Warm. Not hot. Our drive is about 18 min away. By the time we get home pizzas would be cold. So I ask, "don't you guys have ovens to keep the pizzas warm?" To which without missing a beat she says "our pizza warmers are broken." No apology, no offer to perhaps throw pizza on oven to reheat for us. Nothing. I could've said "this is the last time we order from Knollas" but decided she didn't seem to care and why waste my time. I left disappointed to pay over $70 on 3 pizzas and we get home and now I am warming them in my oven. I regretted the tip, which would've at least come along with a kind service attitude. But that is not to be expected here apparently. No pizza warmers guys, and honestly pizza lacks a bit of salt if you ask me. Not worth the price, saddened because we try to support local. Unless we can eat in the restaurant we won't order to-go again. Stick to Ziggy's Wichita, they rarely disappoint! The few times they have messed up my order they always take care of us and make sure we return. Too bad is all I can say! ‍

First of all price shock; Appetizer came out cold in middle; so they took half eaten mozz sticks and threw back in deep fryer. wth then brought them back out and still did not taste right; like they were old or freezer burned. Second pizza came out/ pepperoni/ham the ham no where to be seen; very little pepperoni.. sauce may as well been tomato sauce. The service from most was well; but one lady brought out the mozz sticks and sat them on edge of table reaching and slide them across table at me.. Rest of service was ok.. Deserts looked amazing and perhaps brought in from a local bakery.. I order carrot cake.. and at these prices Id expect FRESH and full of cream cheese icing.. So needless to say I wont be going back and continue my search in Wichita for a great pizza..

Extremely surprised by this place. Definitely try the lemon bars. Yes, not the place you would expect to find a good dessert but they are. Went 30 min before closing never felt rushed in order or eating. The pizza was a bit on the doughy side but still good. If you like crumble toppings this is a perfect option. Everything was flavorful and nicely done.

Great pizza! Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Highly recommended! Prices are right. Why go to the chain pizza places when you get better products and service.

Best pizza in Wichita. The sauce and the crust are amazing. Great desserts too. I wish they had more locations.

The pizza is good, but they will screw up your order 100% of the time. Almost worth the inevitable hassle.

Il Vicino is one of our favorite "chain" pizza spots (Il Vicino is a small chain that spans 3-4…read moreStates). In my opinion, there are 3 requirements that make a great pizza; fresh ingredients, dough flavor, and how it's cooked. Il Vicino almost always knocks it out of the park with those requirements. The ingredients are almost always (more on this later) fresh tasting, the dough flavor is absolutely delicious, and the woodfire cook is my favorite way to enjoy pizza, and it makes the place smell so good. I have never ordered anything other than pizza from Il Vicino, but my wife has had the pasta on a few occasions and I have sampled it. On one occasion she ordered the alfredo, and the pasta was well made and well flavored...it doesn't taste fresh-made, but still good. The alfredo sauce has good flavor, but is also unlikely made fresh in house and was runnier than I prefer. We've never tried their panini's or soups, but I've had almost every pizza on the menu. In dozens of visits, we've only had 2 experiences that were underwhelming. One time the pizza was simply undercooked...the flavors were on point, but it just needed a few more minutes in the oven. When a manager came by to check on us, I mentioned it to him, and he gave us 50% off the price after confirming that we declined having them to make us a new pizza. On the other occasion, something was clearly off with the freshness of the mushrooms...it almost seemed as if they had run out of their normal mushrooms, and instead of 86-ing them they ran to the store and bought canned. That said, it's only happened once, and I can forgive singular bad experiences. In terms of overall freshness of ingredients, you can tell that they're not the highest quality in the world, but they don't taste canned or frozen, and given the prices, I can live with "good quality." Which brings us to price. Prices are more than fair, and portions are appropriate for 1-2 people to enjoy a single pizza. Our family of 4 can usually eat there for under $30, sharing 2 pizzas that taste miles better than the national chains.

This place was just as good as I remembered back when I went right before the pandemic basically…read moreclosed everything down. The prosciutto pizza was delicious, but the Caesar salad was a hit since it's one of the best Caesar salads I've had in my life. The spicy oil was super delicious especially when I eat it with bread that I wish I had taken some back home. The inside was cozy and it had a fall vibe to it. Overall, I would return to this place.

I think they are freezing the ingredients, which decreases the flavor. They obviously are not fresh as they were in the past. I think the previous employees quit there positions and these new hired employees dont accept their responsibilities. There was no employee at the counter for several minutes, and she was negligible. The current employees need to be replaced by responsible employees or this place will close. I ordered from Godfathers about every 2 weeks, previously, but I will not place another order ever again. It's a long drive for a pizza that is not nearly as favorable as it used to be. Soooo disappointed.

To be completely transparent, I've done a ton of traveling and if the food tastes good to me, I'll pay whatever price within reason so the prices don't bother me. Inflation is here to stay and if it's THAT much of an issue for you, Little Caesars is right down the street for much cheaper, but you'll sacrifice taste and quality. I am usually a coal oven or wood fire pizza only Neapolitan or NY style pizza only kind of gal. However, for being neither of those things Godfather's Pizza is quite good. It does not "taste" chain to me, and I can indulge and not feel like complete trash after eating it. Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, and Dominoes are all within a couple of miles of Godfather's and having had all of them several times----Godfather's is the clear winner for me. There are a multitude of specialty pizzas in a generous number of sizes including mini which you don't find very often. Even the mini pizza had generous toppings, was made with care, and it was less than 10 dollars. The several times we have ordered, the cheese is plentiful, the toppings are evenly distributed, and our order has been 100% correct each time. Also, they actually cut CLEANLY through their pizzas! I don't know why but for whatever reason all the other chains in this area really struggle to cut their pizzas cleanly, so I am always having to run a knife through them anyway or the slices are tearing weird. I won't lie, looking at pictures of the pizza, they don't really look all that visually appealing but the taste is very solid. I also could wager that they don't travel all that well. Being heavy on the toppings and thicker slices I can imagine any travel time beyond like 10-15 minutes the pizzas probably become soggy pretty quickly. But overall, have I had better? Yes. Have I had worse? By far. But when you're looking for quick, convenient and most importantly tasty pizza---really I don't have any major criticisms and will continue to give them my business.
