Late Lunch Date Day! Always a fun relaxed way to find yummy food at new-to-us places; so glad we chose Bronx Pizza! Had a terrific time, enjoyed fabulous pizza and wings - - Bada Bing!! for sure - - and delightful conversation with the bartender and regulars. I might complain about the grease on such a thin crust pizza, but it just added to the authenticity. Wizard of Hops on tap and the ambiance non-fussy and comfortable. We will go back.

The food is amazing! We've been twice and enjoyed it both times. Highly recommend the garlic knots. Everything comes out piping hot and fresh. The service was great on our second visit. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit. The ambiance is pretty good. Not much to say one way or the other in that regard. 3 or 4 TVs, it might be fun to watch sports there. Our first visit the music kept cutting out like the person controlling it was too far from the Bluetooth, may have just been a technical issue. Didn't notice anything similar on our second trip.

Bronx Pizza & Pints It's been over a year since my last visit and the reason being, the previous few visits had not gone well. I was done.. I heard there had been some changes...and it became very clear those changes definitely improved the overall dining experience. Hubby and I stoped in for a late lunch (around 3 pm) We ordered the Bronx Bomber sandwich to share and the 14 inch Empire pizza. We had the sandwich toasted. Words cannot even begin to express how tasty and perfectly toasted this massive sandwich was! The meat was piled sky high..cheese nicely melted and very fresh ingredients. You could barely fit your mouth around this thing! I could only eat half of my half and took the rest home. Now for the pizza, it was very different from previous pizzas! Crust was thin, perfectly crispy and the sauce has had a makeover as well and wasn't as sweet as it used to be. Again, ingredients were super fresh and just the right amount of toppings! Paul was kind enough to spend a few minutes with us and told us of the changes made recently and even Benny came out of the kitchen to see if we were pleased with our order! I'm pretty sure they were aware of my previous review...and I'm happy that I can give a great and honest review this time Thanks for a great meal and conversation Paul!

All in all, not bad. I'll give it 4 stars. Had a sausage and black olive calzone and beer. Service was good, ambiance was ok other than some uncleaned tables that needed cleaned up. I do think there are better choices for pizza and calzones. Came to $30.32 for the calzone and two beers before tip, which is too high in my opinion.

Full disclosure we went on their first night opened. We wanted try this place and as a native New Yorker I am always looking for a good NY pizza. We ordered a XL pepperoni and Fried Ravioli for take out. We ordered at the bar and their was some training going on which is fine and expected. The staff was nice and helpful. Took about 35 minutes to get our order. They had a lot of seating and were over half full. There is a full bar with a small selection of beers. We got our order home (about 30 minute drive) the food was still warm. The pizza was good decent cheese, sauce and pepperoni. The slices folded well and the crust was the right thickness. The toasted raviolis were meh. They had been over cooked. I will definitely go back after some time for the place to find a groove. The pizza is definitely better than any chain.

Best pizza in Wichita!! I got the pepperoni and the Q Street slice and they were both so good! We also got the garlic knots with cheese and they were so big and good! 10/10 would recommend!

I've driven by this place for months and finally decided to stop in and try it. I got a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza and a cannoli to go. It has a really nice bar area with plenty of TVs and a good beer selection. The bartender was really nice and answered all my questions and the gentleman who brought out my food told me he hoped the wait wasn't too long which was literally maybe 8 minutes. The pizza and dessert were both excellent! My only complaint is that I'm such an idiot for taking so long to try this place.

Bad:Ordered online and was not given an option to pay at pick up. Placed order @ 6:33pm provided a ready time of 7:03pm. We arrived at the appointed time and then were told it would be an additional 15 minites. Finally received pizza @7:21pm. Problem: asked the employee about the additional 15 minutes and asked why the online ordering doesn't adjust to the volume. She said it never adjust and she said they were slammed. She apologized and said it should be ready in 15 minutes. I felt her response was just standard boiler plate that she throws out every day. Waiting 45 minutes really not cool when a lot of apps for online ordering can actually calculate a GOOD pick up time. Manager and Owners need to do better. The delivery absolutely sucks!! Toast subcontracts through DoorDash and UberEats- no problem with that, but it's been over an hour since my pizza was picked up from the restaurant. Originally it was going to be approx 15 from pick up to delivery at my house. They keep pushing the time back 5-10 minutes each time. I'm still waiting for the pizza, which I'm sure won't be fresh or hot now. I called and texted the delivery driver but never got a response. I called the restaurant and told them that it really reflects poorly on them since they are the one who recommended that I order my delivery through Toast. The employee was super nice, but couldn't do anything for me since I ORDERED THROUGH TOAST. But, she did say she would relay my comments to the manager. Never going to order delivery from Knolla's again.

Il Vicino is one of our favorite "chain" pizza spots (Il Vicino is a small chain that spans 3-4…read moreStates). In my opinion, there are 3 requirements that make a great pizza; fresh ingredients, dough flavor, and how it's cooked. Il Vicino almost always knocks it out of the park with those requirements. The ingredients are almost always (more on this later) fresh tasting, the dough flavor is absolutely delicious, and the woodfire cook is my favorite way to enjoy pizza, and it makes the place smell so good. I have never ordered anything other than pizza from Il Vicino, but my wife has had the pasta on a few occasions and I have sampled it. On one occasion she ordered the alfredo, and the pasta was well made and well flavored...it doesn't taste fresh-made, but still good. The alfredo sauce has good flavor, but is also unlikely made fresh in house and was runnier than I prefer. We've never tried their panini's or soups, but I've had almost every pizza on the menu. In dozens of visits, we've only had 2 experiences that were underwhelming. One time the pizza was simply undercooked...the flavors were on point, but it just needed a few more minutes in the oven. When a manager came by to check on us, I mentioned it to him, and he gave us 50% off the price after confirming that we declined having them to make us a new pizza. On the other occasion, something was clearly off with the freshness of the mushrooms...it almost seemed as if they had run out of their normal mushrooms, and instead of 86-ing them they ran to the store and bought canned. That said, it's only happened once, and I can forgive singular bad experiences. In terms of overall freshness of ingredients, you can tell that they're not the highest quality in the world, but they don't taste canned or frozen, and given the prices, I can live with "good quality." Which brings us to price. Prices are more than fair, and portions are appropriate for 1-2 people to enjoy a single pizza. Our family of 4 can usually eat there for under $30, sharing 2 pizzas that taste miles better than the national chains.

The prosciutto pizza was delicious, but the Caesar salad was a hit since it's one of the best Caesar salads I've had in my life. To be completely transparent, I've done a ton of traveling and if the food tastes good to me, I'll pay whatever price within reason so the prices don't bother me. Inflation is here to stay and if it's THAT much of an issue for you, Little Caesars is right down the street for much cheaper, but you'll sacrifice taste and quality. I am usually a coal oven or wood fire pizza only Neapolitan or NY style pizza only kind of gal. However, for being neither of those things Godfather's Pizza is quite good. It does not "taste" chain to me, and I can indulge and not feel like complete trash after eating it. Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, and Dominoes are all within a couple of miles of Godfather's and having had all of them several times----Godfather's is the clear winner for me. There are a multitude of specialty pizzas in a generous number of sizes including mini which you don't find very often. Even the mini pizza had generous toppings, was made with care, and it was less than 10 dollars. The several times we have ordered, the cheese is plentiful, the toppings are evenly distributed, and our order has been 100% correct each time. Also, they actually cut CLEANLY through their pizzas! I don't know why but for whatever reason all the other chains in this area really struggle to cut their pizzas cleanly, so I am always having to run a knife through them anyway or the slices are tearing weird. I won't lie, looking at pictures of the pizza, they don't really look all that visually appealing but the taste is very solid. I also could wager that they don't travel all that well. Being heavy on the toppings and thicker slices I can imagine any travel time beyond like 10-15 minutes the pizzas probably become soggy pretty quickly. But overall, have I had better? Yes. Have I had worse? By far. But when you're looking for quick, convenient and most importantly tasty pizza---really I don't have any major criticisms and will continue to give them my business.
