As you can imagine, it is hard to plan exactly how many people will attend and what time everyone will arrive. The folks are Pasquale's treated us so well. They put us in a private room and even though they close at 8:30, they never said a word as we lingered there well past that time. We seriously appreciate their kindness. We also appreciate the amazing food and service. Our waitress was friendly and patient as she took and delivered 16 drink orders. The pizza was outstanding. I had both the Taco and the Special. They were thin and crispy. Loaded with toppings, perfect crusts. Just outstanding pizza which I highly recommend.

Sadly, we were the only ones in the restaurant -- and it felt like not much has changed since the place opened back in the 50s or 60s. Same booths (I'm pretty sure), and not sure the last time they've been deep cleaned. The bathroom in particular was... rough. There's a really cool old jukebox that adds to the nostalgia -- but unfortunately, it was out of order. Would've been nice to sip on a beer while waiting (the pizza took quite a while), but just a heads-up: they only serve canned pop and bottled water. Now, the good news -- once the pizza finally arrived, it was **fantastic**. Classic brick-oven flavor, perfectly crisp, and loaded with flavor. We ate the whole thing even though we'd planned to save leftovers for my daughter and her roommate! If I lived in Boone, I'd absolutely order from here again -- but next time, it would definitely be takeout.

It was apparent upon arrival that it is a favorite place for locals. (On a Sunday night in the middle of nowhere, the place was pleasantly full) The bartenders are friendly and prompt. Byron himself held a place behind the bar, and as soon as he saw our new faces, he came right over and started a chat. What a nice fellow. It became very apparent he does what he does for the love music, and being able to offer a place for like minded people to come together for great live music. We had a great time. For anyone who loves live music - Byrons Bar is a must; maybe even a pilgrimage. Keep dancing Byron, cheers to you! And your friends from WI will definately be back!

I had the pleasure of visiting Leon's Pizza for the first time last night. I will not wait long to…read moretry it again. My group and I entered the restaurant around 5 PM and were immediately seated at a table. The first thing that came to mind when viewing the interior was pure nostalgia from my childhood. The restaurant exists within a Time Machine in the best way possible. You don't need frills when the food is this good. Speaking of the food, our group got a sampler platter to start with. I tried a bit of everything. The onion rings and cheese curds both drew rave reviews. The fried sweet corn got a mixed reaction, but I quite enjoyed it. The pizza menu allows for a lot of creative thinking with the different sizes. Most of our group got their own mini pizzas. The three people who tried that reported that they were all delicious and a perfect size for one person. My friend and I decided to split a large pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon pizza. It. Was. Amazing! Let's start with the crust. It was thin and had a nice crunch to it. My favorite bites were the ones where the pizza was slightly more done. I loved the thickness of the crust. The sauce was delicious, the pepperoni solid, and the Canadian bacon good. But the real star was the sausage. It had a little bit of a bite, in a spicy way, that was fantastic and left you craving more. We should've had plenty of leftovers, but my friend and I both decided it was too good to not eat the whole thing right then. The wait staff was very attentive and we were even blessed with a visit from the owner to check on how our meal was. A very nice touch. If you want a unique, thin crust pizza that allows for everyone to get their own favorite toppings, visit Leon's. You will not be disappointed!

No bells or whistles just a hard working chef and maître d' extrodinaire. I ordered a pizza after much inner debate and promised myself next time I'm in town to order Stromboli or a Calzone. I could quietly work while waiting my order as I found a plug in right by one of the five tables. The pizza fresh out of the oven was soon delivered and it was tasty! I do love bread so was equally as interested in the flavor of the crust and it's doneness (not gooey anywhere) and it was perfect, flavorful and had just the right crunch and chewiness. Overall the pizza was close to excellent and I will give it a five star although the Italian sausage wasn't as good as I would have liked.
