The toppings were mediocre, and there were so few of them that I had to hunt for them. For what they charge, that's unacceptable. The trouble started before the pizza did. The person taking phone orders was painfully inefficient, and a simple order turned into a frustrating ordeal. After that came a long wait, and all it got me was an overpriced, underwhelming pizza. Premium prices should mean a premium product. What I got was a raw crust, skimpy toppings and poor service. Marion has plenty of better pizza places, so go to one of them instead.

I mean, our waitress predicted what we needed before we asked, put my son's food order in first and brought it out quickly (we so appreciated this) and was super prompt with literally everything. We didn't have to ask for boxes, and she had the check ready on time, her timing was impeccable the entire time! The food was overall, good. The bread service was delicious. The garlic knots were freshly baked and heavenly. They do an olive oil dip with it and we usually love this at comparable restaurants but their olive oil was on the fruity/floral side for me. My husband liked it, but for me I prefer a more buttery and garlic flavor to my olive oils, especially when meant for bread. The calamari wasn't good. The issue (which is easily fixable) is that the pieces were HUGE! We've never seen calamari rings that big! Because of that, I'm assuming they got overcooked to ensure they got up to temp as these were so so rubbery and tough. I don't know if this size is typical for them if there was an ordering issue, but these would be really good if they were smaller so it could be a faster fry and less likely to get overcooked. My husband had the shrimp and scallop Alfredo and he LOVED it, he said he likes it more than his usual at Biaggis which is saying something because that's been our go to for over a decade. I had the chicken parm and the chicken itself was great. The spaghetti was okay, but the noodles were watery, making the sauce on top thin, this would've been better if the sauce and noodles were tossed into a pan to thicken the sauce and coat the noodles. My son has the chicken strip meal (it came with fries) and he was happy with it! Overall, we had a positive experience and the service itself will be enough for us to come back and try more on the menu!

When the food came out, the chicken tasted extremely rubbery like it was recooked in a microwave and the alfredo sauce had no flavor. My girlfriends tortellini was refrigerator cold in the middle with her sauce being watered down. When we said something to the young manager, she attempted to remake the tortellini but only to recieve the same results. Cold in the middle and watered down sauce. This place does not serve fresh food, it felt and tasted like yesterday's leftovers! Even the so called garlic bread was no better than buttered toast with a sprinkle of garlic powder. So with our full plates of food on the table, we left on our way out we spoke to the young manager. We told her how horrible the food was and how dissatisfied we were with their establishment. We just recieved a reply of, we're sorry and have a better evening. We will definitely not be returning to this establishment!! DO NOT eat here, it is a complete waste of your money and time!! As well as potentially giving you food poisoning with undercooked food!

I landed on the breakfast burrito and I have been thinking about it every since. It was a big tortilla filled with sausage, potatoes, onions and peppers. I had salsa and sour cream on the side. For $6, this thing couldn't be beat! My daughter got the pancakes. I asked how big they are to see if we needed to get more than 2 and the lovely girls at the counter told us they were big. WHOA! 1- These pancakes are HUUUUGE! 2- They are, hands down, THE thickest pancakes I've ever seen in my life! My daughter and I shared 1 and could not even attempt the second so we took it home for later. These cakes are seriously 1 1/2 inches thick and they taste amazing. Homemade, delicious and served nice and hot. The servers were all amazing and incredibly attentive. Even taking the time to genuinely chat with us when it wasn't busy. The restaurant was neat and clean, with a relaxed, homey feel. We tried the homemade cheese balls at the recommendation of one of the hostesses, and were really disappointed. They had potential, the outside was crunchy and tasty, but the inside was made from shredded cheddar cheese that had no flavor. When you enter the restaurant, you go past a case filled with homemade baked goods. They looked delicious. As we left, we purchased two cheesecake brownies and a peanut cluster. When we got home, we noticed that the dates stamped on our baked goods were from mid-September. The peanut cluster still tasted fine, but the brownies were so unfortunate. They were dry and tasted off. Even if they were stored in a refrigerated climate, 3 week old brownies do not taste fresh. It was a waste of our money. Absolutely go to Tommy's, and order their main entrees, which are homemade and great. But be careful about the extras, specifically the baked goods in plastic wrap. Check the dates on those!

Now for the critique, and let me preface this by saying I'd much rather be speaking in favor of a small business. The food ranged from mediocre to awful. Honestly, Gordon Ramsay needs to save this restaurant. As an American style restaurant, a Philly cheesesteak should be a bread and butter lunch-time staple but, for the love of the pursuit of happiness, PLEASE remove this item from your menu. The meat was dry shredded brisket (maybe), on a tasteless hoagie with a thin layer of butter. For $16.99, and a 10-15 minute wait, can Tommy's at least try to meet or exceed the quality of a Philly cheesesteaks served at fast food joints in malls across the country? I was upset my girlfriend suffered through 1/4 of the sandwich instead of sending it back. Absolute disgrace. If you don't want to produce a good quality sandwich, why put your customers through it? The fries that came with the sandwich were passable. The JackMac was also passable but not like a restaurant quality dish, more like a slightly more fancy version of a meal you'd make at home if you were feeling lazy. If you're in the mood for a heavy creamy macaroni dish blended with chopped chicken strips and spare no sodium, this is the one for you.
