And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. MassBay was truly excellent.

I contacted the company asking help with Woodpecker's roosting in my home. They recommended a…read moreplace deflectors on the corners of my home and charged $495 for doing this. They would not warranty job because we're dealing with wildlife. Shortly after, one of the deflectors came off the house. I called them and they came and put it back up. Over the next few months (up until 5 weeks ago) the same two continued to come off. Extractors continued to respond and put the deflectors up until this last time. They are a no show. I did receive 1 VM but still no response to multiple phone calls. Also after checking on the deflectors you can buy them on line for $11.00 a pair. I have 3 pair of deflectors that would have cost $33.00. Instead I paid $495 for a product that continues to fall off the house from a company that fais to stand behind a product they installed at an outrageous price.
