My assembled custom travel kit - mini and light weight.

A jewel box for novices and pros. I'm not a regular water color painter but I'm traveling for 2 weeks and ended up getting a travel kit filled with 14 ACFM colors and a travel water color book. Great store in a great neighborhood with excellent shops and restaurants in a 4 block radius. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful space with a great collection of papers, inks and pigments. If I ever got super artsy and decided to create my own colors, Case for Making sure made it easy to get started on a beautiful hobby like that.

Cute shop, love their products, the one class I attended was great. I would characterize the customer service as nice but not kind.

This is a delightful art supply store in west San Francisco with their own watercolor selections.

This souvenir shop is always my go to for gifts and somehow saves me every single time. Last minute…read moreor not it is the first place I think of. I have found baby shower gifts birthday gifts white elephant gifts ornaments and honestly something for every occasion you can imagine. The selection is always creative and feels thoughtful not generic. I especially love the Sunset District merch because it is always a crowd favorite and feels personal without trying too hard. The stationery is also dangerously cute and the wrapping paper and gift bags are truly top tier which honestly makes the gift feel even better. If you are looking for a gift whether you are panicking or just browsing this place is a must stop. And as if it needed another reason to love it one time a bunch of hummingbirds flew into the store and were just flying around. I do not know about you but I fully believe hummingbirds are a good omen so at this point the good vibes are confirmed

I didn't even realize that Wishbone (the former store in this location) is now called "My…read moreFavorite," until hours later in Golden Gate Park - after I glanced at the artful "My Favorite" stamp on the brown paper bag from my recent purchase. I suspect that the delay in recognizing the name change was because My Favorite has very similar inventory to Wishbone. I was pleased to learn that it is even run by a former Wishbone employee. On my recent visit here, I was particularly enamored with My Favorite's jewelry section. My eyes were drawn to a pair of delicate beaded gold earrings and the daintiest elegant beaded bracelet. In addition to their well curated jewelry items, they also carry fun SF themed puzzles, cute dishcloths, empowering kids books - and other colorful quirky finds I ended up buying a petite hooked rug pillow with daffodils on it - to commemorate my Welsh heritage - https://www.wales.com/about/welcome-wales/national-symbols-wales . I had hoped the pillow was handmade, but after talking with the helpful and kind staff member here when checking out, she revealed that it was likely mass produced in a factory in China. I appreciated her candid honesty. Even though the pillow was actually fairly hard to the touch, and not handmade - I felt called to purchase it. I would much rather say "aw I love this place," as I pay for an item, rather than "aw I loved that place," when the business is gone. My hard whimsical daffodil pillow now sits upright in the corner of our place. A reminder that even small purchases help support wonderful local businesses. Trust.

Park Life - Park Life steals from real artists. You can tell these are not people who actually care about art, just dollar signs.

Everyone celebrates San Francisco differently. Seeing a celebration for the area code of the city…read moreof San Francisco has been always part of growing up especially during my High School years at Mission High school which happens to be tallest building in front of the Dolores Park. Yes having Dolores Park as your school yard and the place to spend your lunch period and some after school activities was happening all four seasons of the year not just on April 15 or 4/15 now also known as 415 day. The corporations and other entities start capitalizing on some underground fun. Now it's celebrated throughout San Francisco with people wearing items and gear which has something San Francisco on it. How I still celebrate it is going to a park in San Francisco with a favorite adult beverage currently it's a bottle of Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir. Whether Dolores Park or Golden Park you can represent all four seasons in San Francisco by visiting that Park Life. On an April stroll in San Francisco finding where to park on Clement street can sometimes be a challenge in San Francisco. You can see people camping out for parking spots on Clement street ( like at Costco in SF). Park Life is a store on Clement street between 3rd and 4th Avenue which has items with themes of San Francisco. You will find art and stationaries. You will also see bags ,clothing, and hats with San Francisco on it that don't look like you picked it up at a souvenir shop at the Tourist trap in SF. You will also find some interesting books inside. There is a small art gallery in the back of the store . This is a good place to get a treat for yourself or grab a gift for others and have fun at a local San Francisco park . Whether it's Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, McLaren Park, Mount Davison Park, Sue Bierman Park, Lafayette Park, Precita Park, Bernal Heights Park, Alamo Square Park, Washington Square Park, Dolores Park, Franklin Square Park, Presidio Tunnel Tops Park or Glen Park , etc. This place in San Francisco is all about that Park Life. Born and raised in San Francisco I am straight out the"golden gates "to me it's always San Francisco and I only call it the other term which is SF I am not the one who "participates "calling San Francisco different nicknames on social media or in person"debates" I just know San Francisco is the best city in the "United States" Go take a stroll to San Francisco by the Pacific Ocean and not the" Hormuz Strait" to the day I like to "celebrate" in San Francisco on April 15 also known as 415 but there is also another" date " I partake which is on June 28th also known as the other San Francisco area code the "628"
