Awful! The customer service is non-existent. Erica has an attitude and is unable to manage the most basic of office tasks (retrieving invoices from a previous year). Dominick will promise to fix an issue and then ignore it. He installed a salt system in my pool 2 years ago and it was faulty from the installation. I have asked him for 2 years to replace it, he has promised to take care of it and never did. He is now no longer taking my calls. I am extremely disappointed with this company. read more

I have a a number of pool services over the last 30 years and I have to say that Cascade Pools has been the best of all. Not only have I used them for opening and closing, I have had them completely rearrange my plumbing, clean up my electrical system and change over my separate pool and spa systems to a single system. Everyone at Cascade was responsive, professional, and kind. It was our first year closing the pool and there were a few pieces that we needed to close we were missing (our fault). They started the process that day and came out again the following day, brought us the missing pieces rather than having us try to track them down and finished the job. I've been with Paul for several years now and am extremely satisfied with his service. He opens my pool on time, has his guys put away the winter cover in my garage and gets back to me promptly whenever I contact him. I can do the very basic stuff usually (thank you Google) but if I'm stumped he'll be out quickly to fix it. My pool is pretty old and will need new coping and plaster. I've had his recommended company come out and they do quality work at a reasonable price. Not the hyper inflated price of some of the other companies. He's a real nice guy to boot. read more

We hired Cascade to open our pool. The owner was very unprofessional. He didn't show up on time. When I called him to tell him I wasn't happy, he got an attitude with me on the phone & told me not to call him again & then hung up on me on the phone. We had to clean up after he left. Didn't tell us when he was coming or when he was finished. The filter was hooked up but the pool didn't get vacuumed or skimmed. We have a automatic vacuum that had to be put in twice & we had to clean the skimmers because they also were so full they got clogged. I will never used Cascades services again & would not recommend them to anyone. I feel like the they had too many jobs or another job they were making more money & rushed through opening our pool. I hired CPS last year to close our pool and he was fantastic and the price was good. We obviously wanted to hire him to open our pool the following year. May 4, 2018 we had an appointment (confirmed April 16) and he never showed up despite emailing him and leaving a VM. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to right-the-wrong but it's over a week later and there's been no response. Bad for business. read more

I never thought it would be so hard to find a reliable pool company...we literally had to change pool companies for 5 years straight when we first moved into our house that had a pool. Finally, I asked a pool supplier who they recommended, and they told me about Cascade Pool Service. This pool company ALWAYS goes above and beyond for me! I have a huge pool, close to 60,000 gallons and they do a fantastic job every week servicing the pool. Literally every friend that I recommend Cascade too, is so appreciative that they have them now. Started a $5,000 project on our pool for painting and repairs. After a week of working on my pool I fired him. Terrible patch jobs. They went in my shed and used my hose and broom and left it outside. Left wet paint supplies in flower beds, put trash debris in my trash cans without bags and left it there. Throughout the summer I have had numerous problems with them and the service they performed. I paid for valet service each week, which includes keeping the levels of chemicals and salt where they should be and also vacuuming the pool. ( This is not an inexpensive service). This has been a service since May. My pool on numerous occasions became green, because the salt levels ( which ionize into chlorine) were so low, and the chemicals were not administered properly. I contacted the owner, Paul, on numerous occasions, and he sent workers over. I was told that I needed a new ionizer (which I do not now think was the truth) installed. When they came to install that, they broke a gasket, and my pool pump could not work properly until they got the part and came and fixed it. The pool having green algae on the walls, seemed to continue even AFTER the ionizer was put in. I questioned this, and received no reason for it. Last week, they came on Monday and by Weds my pool had green walls. We had a party this past weekend and I contacted him to please fix the situation once again. I paid the bill for July, August and also for the installation of the new ionizer and the check cleared last week. I wish I did not, as the service has been very poor which I have evidence of. Today, when his workers came here to service the pool, as they were leaving my contractors saw them throw screws out of the window of their van after mumbling something under their breath before getting into their van. My contractors came in my house and told me this and proceeded to walk the driveway and make sure there were no other screws toward the street. The screws were under the wheels and undercarriage of our vehicles, including the contractors van. My contractors are painting, there are no screws involved in what they are doing and also they showed me that the screws that were thrown did match theirs anyway. I texted the owner Paul, and was asked to call him, which I did in between my virtual appointments. When I called him he immediately was very defensive, unprofessional, accusatory and inappropriate. He was telling me that my contractors are liars, that I am a liar, that one of the workers is his cousin and would never do anything like that. He was cursing and yelling at me and on the borderline of being verbally abusive to me. My contractors heard it all as I had him on speaker phone. I felt very threatened. To give you an example of one of the things that was said, he stated "you people are ridiculous". (He was referring to others that I am friends with who also experienced bad service this summer with their pools as well). When I asked him to clarify what "you people" meant, he stated " you can take that whatever way you f'ing want to". He told me that I "can do whatever you have to do". He then proceeded to call my friends, who I referred him to, and left a message stating that they needed to find a new pool service. This was no doubt done in retaliation, as I referred them to him. There are many others that are not happy with his work. But this was very threatening and uncalled for. Do not use them. There is evidence of a voicemail on his facebook page as well under a review of him yelling and cursing at another woman as well. Not the way customers should be treated EVER. read more
