I had a large maple on the property line that needed to be removed. Asked that all possible fire…read morewood be left. They left me 7 little pieces and threw the rest in the chipper. I asked that I have a yard of chips for mulching: nothing, zip. Workers giving me the stink eye. Then they left a 3 foot in diameter laying in my driveway, cut into two pieces. I asked if he could trim a maple tree in the backyard. Everyone who walked into my backyard always said 'what a beautiful tree' and I had my morning coffee under it's shade with the dogs playing. The worker butchered the tree, blunt cut branches, left dead branch, cuts made that had no explanation. Another branch about 4" diameter fell out two years later with saw cuts on it. The tree is now ugly and I can't sit under with my coffee. Price $3200. Asked another tree trimmer and he just said they are 'old school' whatever that means. They clearly don't understand or give a damn. Never ever hire them. There are too many excellent tree people around.
