I hired Pete at Proshine to clean all exterior windows. I…read morehad used them before and was pleased. The two employes I had did not seem to be totally aware of window cleaning. Had to call them back for redoing an all glass storm door, probably the easiest glass to be cleaned. Then I was cleaning interior and saw that part of the large exterior windows was totally untouched. Pete stopped by while I was cleaning my north roof and said they could do that. I agreed. They used a rough/stiff plastic broom that I would never use on my three tab. After they left I saw that one of the tabs was broken off. Pete denies any responsibility. Cost of replacement of that half of the roof is $8600. I will not use them again. use them, Now the screen portion of that same storm door is missing. The only way it would have been removed is when it was cleaned by the employees. Professional screen repair person says he does not have the ability to replace. I now have insects of all kinds in the house from mosquitoes to tiny green critter about 1 mm big. What do I do? Only thing I can figure out is to tape screen wire over the opening. Ugh. Three things wrong in one visit. I think it was not adequately training new employes. The one must have never cleaned a window in their life. Not cheap. Previously excellent, will not hire them again.

Jim had just completed landscaping our new neighbor's property. We observed first-hand the team's…read moreadmirable work ethic, impressive stoneworking skills, and overall mastery of that job. So we contacted Jim about building stairs along our steep driveway and down along the slope of our hillside home. He was immediately responsive, friendly, and straightforward with his communication. A crew of two, Elias and Gustavo, did a fantastic job of building by hand beautiful and functional walls and access paths through our property. They finished yesterday. Now for planting. The job was done quickly, the price was fair, the cleanup impeccable. We look forward to working with Columbia Gorge Landscape again and recommend the business without hesitation.

What a joke! But too bad it's on me with the large amount of money I've wasted and have to have…read moreanother landscaper fix. From cheap sod that was installed with no top soil for prep (that I battled all summer to stay alive) to a sprinkler system that needs to be redone (not enough heads, not enough valves) I wouldn't have known about the sprinkler system until another contractor came today to blow out my lines for winter preparation. BUT I can't have them blown out, because the box was installed completely wrong and there is no way to blow them out. The new contractor showed me the wrong fittings that were installed and then drove me over to several neighbors houses to show me how a correct box is installed. And then one of those neighbors claimed "Oh, you hired him as well? Me too and had to have everything redone by another landscaper" Pathetic that some contractors will take advantage of new people moving into the area.

Both jobs were done to a high quality level, but Tim's responsiveness has been lacking. He would schedule a time to come by and not show up, then push to a new time and not show up again.
