We found GS Concrete Construction by doing a web search. After reading the rave reviews online, we contacted General Contractor Cutberto Garcia, via his cell phone, told him that we wanted something that looked like stone but was more durable that had little pops of color. We went with a grayish concrete with specs of green "rosemary" color embedded in the lightly stamped surface. The surface couldn't be too rough either since we wanted patio furniture to sit straight without wobbling. 24 hours later he was standing in the dirt of our backyard, examining the property, measuring and doing a few calculations. After listening to our ideas, Garcia (he prefers being called that because he thinks Cutberto is too hard to remember) brought up example photos on his cell phone and we actually chose our colors from those examples. Kinda quirky but it worked. Garcia's english skills may come across as limited but he knows exactly what he is doing. All work is performed in a professional manner, in accordance with the latest standards, preventive measures, safety protocols, regulations and codes set forth by the commission of Beaverton. Garcia's estimate is free and you are under no obligation to contract for his services. Garcia hires only skilled and experienced workers who have the knowledge to complete any project, quickly and efficiently. All the guys who worked on our project were courteous, professional and at the end of each day the work area was cleaned up. They even wrapped the bottom back of our house in plastic before pouring the concrete in case of splashing. I really appreciated that. Because of a few days of wet weather, our concrete pad took a little extra time but the way it turned out was perfect and we couldn't be happier. Pouring a concrete pad was also about one-third the cost of what a new deck would be, and that's a Good Thing. If you are considering using Trinity -RUN!!!!!! These people are criminal!!! worst tile job! I…read more could have done a better job myself. it looks like a hack DIY job. He was obviously in a rush - none of the tiles are cut straight, he spilled grout and mortar on the tiles that he didn't clean up so it's dried on and won't come off, tiles are not sloped properly so water pools and doesn't drain properly. When we first noticed there was an issue and brought it up to him he yelled at my husband and said he was just going to walk away with our money and not complete our shower (my husband simply asked him to fix the issue and wasn't rude and we were floored at the extremely harsh response we got). He was the one who built the shower walls and tried to blame the crooked tiles on the walls that they built!!! Then when we noticed the water pooling on the shower floor his wife let it slip that he never water checked the pan (that he built) before tiling and then blamed usfor not asking them to water check the pan (I'm the customer, I shouldn't have to babysit and make sure they do their job!). We now have a non functional shower and will have to pay thousands to get it ripped out and redone. after several attempts to get them to fix it they flat refused and so we had to get a lawyer and we were going to try to use small claims court to try to recover our money so we could get the shower fixed but they've obviously been sued before (just look up their CCB number - I wish we would have done this, and you'll see they have several claims against them) and they requested a jury trial and counter sued us because We had originally wanted them to tile the shower and the fireplace but after the awful shower job we didn't want them to touch the fireplace so they were suing us for not letting them tile our fireplace. They created a water problem in our home and cost us thousands of dollars. We were having Sheetrock work done at the same time and even the Sheetrock guy (who was here working at the same time) was saying that it was the worst tile job he'd ever seen and mentioned that they built the shower all wrong. These people are criminal and will steal your money!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!
