Boonton Provisions is awesome! It's great to finally have a dispensary in the area. I went for…read moretheir launch party which had a fabulous band & food trucks, and got to shop around. The store offers all sorts of cannibis related items, from paraphernalia to edibles to topicals and more. The selection is excellent and well priced, and purchasing is streamlined as you order everything you want through a kiosk and then just go to pick up your items as the checkout desk. The staff members are extremely knowledgeable and the check out service was friendly and prompt. I purchased some guava gummi edibles and the staff was super helpful because usually weed makes me way too high and I hate it, so it'll be nice to try some lower dose sativa. The shop itself is super cute as everything is outdoorsy/camping/hiking themed, with Tokey the Bear as the mascot. The owners, Jamie and Mike, are awesome. So pumped about this spot!

I was very upset not because I didn't want to get out of my car, but because I was already experiencing some back trouble and simply didn't want to have to explain my situation. However, I needed my order, so I went inside and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially because I was excited to visit this dispensary. Management needs to do a better job of training staff and, more importantly, having managers who understand how to communicate with customers and show a little compassion. Sometimes we forget why cannabis was legalized in the first place for people who genuinely need it. A little understanding and compassion would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt like moving a short line through the drive thru was more important than treating a customer with basic courtesy and understanding. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because I expected much better from this dispensary.

Let me start off with the reason for giving this place two stars. I asked them to scale something…read morefor me after purchasing many products from them. My reason for asking was because after my last two purchases, I felt like it wasn't the correct amount for the money I had paid. Cool, I didn't care if I took those losses but I figured to clear my mind next time I would ask if they could scale it to clear a customers mind. The awkwardness that came upon this place when I asked to scale it was undeniable. Once I asked them to scale it, you could see the discomfort in the workers face like I shouldn't be asking them to scale something I paid for. Then another worker stop dealing with a customer to inform me on how they scale & that their product come from a range 3.48 - 3.7. Ok cool. I explained that this was a gift for a person who would scale it especially after it was purchased through a store. This was humorous to them that someone would scale it. After this experience I feel like I was definitely shorted twice now. Why? Because if everything is on point, you shouldn't ever care if someone wants to confirm it's right. The only reason you would feel offended is if it occasionally does happen. This place has amazing products; Yes. The only reason I even came to place is to deal with professionals so I could avoid sketchy situations. I was even willing to pay at a taxed price compared to the streets. The reason for the two stars is the feeling I felt when I asked to scale something I paid for. I went in happy and left feeling awkward like I had done something wrong. I quit smoking so at-least I won't ever have to deal with this again. If you don't believe me, ask them to scale the flower you paid for.
