*Good people, good environment, know about pain relief and not just getting high Let me begin with the only reason it's not 5 stars. The first review talked about data and buyer programs so direct from the NJ Canibus regulatory commission page: Will dispensaries be keeping records of what I buy? Dispensary personnel will need to see a government-issued identification card to ensure purchasers are 21 years or older.  They are not allowed to make copies of your ID or retain record of your purchase beyond what is required for the completion of that single financial transaction. Customers are free to voluntarily provide their information for customer programs - like mailing lists. So, this may need a peek or too, BUT as adults, we can speak up and say, "Please don't retain my information," and boom, no info is retained. Now to the good stuff. The team in Kind Kush is great. They all know the effects of whats carried and strength and will have a dialogue about strains that apply the relief I need as a 22yr ACTIVE DUTY disabled war scarred (literally war scarred from WAR... for the Karens) medical retiree I seek relief from migraines and phantom pain. I have established a 6 strain list that I used to decide what I needed for the pain when I visited. The team is great, and the price is within state regulations. For those complaining about the price, remember, if you're a nj res you and grow your own. Grow don't buy if it's too expensive for you. These guys are professionals in this industry, and the customer service is amazing. Lastly, the beard game is AMAZING in the Don't visit if you're insecure about your beard game. Conclusion: Staff knowledge: 5 stars Facility: 5 stars Feel: not awkward to visit they make you feel conlmfortable 5 stars Information issue: 0 Stars - but remember speak up and say "please don't retain my info" super easy right ? I probably won't be back to this place. There are far too many options nearby. First, they don't stand behind their products. If you get a defective cart, you're on your own. And they give you some lame excuse that if it has air flow it's not defective. Well, you also need the coil firing as well as other things that would prevent a cart from hitting. Another dispensary within 2 miles of that place have already replaced two defective carts, no questions asked. A few of the folks behind the counter at Kind Kush know nothing about customer service or how to talk to a customer. They're rude, they're short, like your inconveniencing them. I went in with a specific product in mind and I was talked out of, it into this other product It ended up being defective and then they want nothing to do with it. My complaint about this place is that they are recording and keeping your personal identifiable information (name, address, date of birth, etc.) from your driver's license because they automatically enroll you into their frequent buyer's club without telling you. That violates the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission rules. According to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission rules, the dispensary is not allowed to keep any personal identifiable information (name, address, date of birth, etc.) about you. Yes, you can consent to being in their frequent buyer's program, but they would need to ask your permission to set you up with an account that would then keep that information. That is not the way this dispensary is set up. They scan your driver's license at the door to make sure you are 21 years old or older. That is allowed by law and they are only allowed to keep your date of birth when they scan your driver's license at the door. However, when you go inside the dispensary, they ask for your driver's license again and the guy behind the counter automatically then puts you into their frequent buyer's program without your consent and they now have your full name, address and date of birth. People don't understand they are automatically being enrolled in a frequent buyer's program when they scan your driver's license for the second time when you enter the store. That is not allowed as per the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission. They are not allowed to retain any personal identifiable information (name, address, date of birth, etc.) unless you consent to being in their frequent buyer's program. In order for them to operate in compliance with the law, they would need to ask if you want to be in their frequent buyer's program and not automatically enroll everyone who comes in through the door in their frequent buyer's program. They need to fix that so they comply with the law. It is not set up properly. I am sure there are a lot of people who do not realize and do not want this dispensary keeping their name, address and date of birth on file. read more
