Tasty appetizer

I can only say that this was so good that we were here 3 nights this past week for the beef fajitas. I would love some tonight but I am back from my Asheville trip. We had Galy the first night and asked for him the two other nights. Near the Asheville airport. Stop before or after your trip.

This is a great little Mexican spot. It's located in a group of shopping center buildings, right off of 26 beside A larger Shopping area. It has a nice outdoor patio area, with umbrellas and lots of parking. Inside, there is a large bar to your left down the wall, and tables and booths spaced nicely apart. The staff is very friendly. I ordered their beefed up queso, which is now my favorite Mexican appetizer. It is queso, chorizo, tomatoes, green peppers, (I excluded the onions). It is so yummy and they bring you a ton of it, still bubbling. The menu is pretty basic Mexican, but it is very good, large portions and I have no complaints. The prices are pretty comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area. All in all, good food, drinks, service and the queso was amazing. Great job!

The food was great and the service was fast! Very reasonable prices. The crowd looked local instead of tourists

She had the fajita lunch the steak wasn't as tender as she would have liked but it was good.

Okay lunch I had chicken taco salad. The pulled chicken was dry & my salad taco bowl was soggy on bottom. Chicken, lettuce, cheese & a little sour cream on top with one slice of tomato.

Went here because the reviews were great. Staff was very friendly but sadly this was some of the worst Mexican food we've ever eaten.

Good is decent, service depends on who you get. If you have a problem with your food and the woman…read morewho owns it is there she will argue with you and talk down to you. She is very rude and hateful when you tell her something is wrong. Today myself, my husband and son went for a late lunch. I ordered a shrimp chimichanga, husband ordered quesadilla rebozo, son had arroz con pollo. Cheese dip and 3 drinks they charged us more than the menu price amd when we brought it to her attention she basically told us it was her restaurant and she could charge whatever she wants!! I know $12/13 don't seem like much but this is not the first time this has happened. And then to be called a liar on top of it when your menu even says your wrong is ridiculous

5 Stars! El Rebozo…read moreMexican Restaurant is the place to go! The menu is absolutely massive--it's like the Mexican food encyclopedia. They don't waste a second, either. You sit down, and boom! Chips and salsa right in front of you. And this salsa? Just the right kick, with chips so perfectly crispy they could start their own ASMR channel. I got the fajita-quesadilla, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece. Huge, packed with flavor, and loaded with melty queso that could make anything taste amazing. My boyfriend went for the "Burrito El Rebozo," and he found it delicious! He joked that his portion looked like the size of a small child, by comparison to mine, but it was actually just right and hit the spot for him. And the prices? Insanely affordable. We left full and happy without doing any serious damage to our wallets. Bottom line: come hungry, bring your stretchy pants, and let El Rebozo work its magic.

I have had little exposure to Honduran food in the past so I was excited to try this place. You…read moreknow that you are in the right place for ethnic food when you walk in and you are the only "gringo" in the place. At the recommendation of the waiter I tried the "Pollo with Tajadas"; fried chicken served with fried green plantain slices, cabbage, homemade sauce & dressing topped with pickled onions & shredded cheese. I also ordered a side order of yucca fries. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was some of the best that I've ever had, but I'm from up north, so what do I know. The yucca, the sauces, and the pickled vegetable were excellent. I didn't love the plantains as they seemed slightly rubbery or stale. Again, I'm no Honduran food expert. Maybe they are supposed to be that way. Anyways they didn't take too much away from the food. As I was eating I noticed that there were at least four other tables that had ordered the same dish, and like I said I was the only "gringo" there, so I feel like the waiter steered me right. The restaurant is relatively small, but bright and very clean. The service was excellent and fast. Th servings were ample and I found it to be very reasonably priced. This was a terrific find. I will definitely be back with the wife. I'm excited to try some other dishes.

Highly recommend this delicious carne asada.fried tilapia in the background with sweet plantainsread more
