The restaurant has a very casual vibe, with many locals who seem to hang out here. I tried the dinner special, which was the Filet de Boeuf. The beef was tender and flavorful. It was served with a wonderful house sauce, potatoes, and mushrooms. The special included a salad, bread, and choice of dessert. (I chose flan, which was delightful). With a large bottle of sparkling water, the meal totaled about $40 CHF - really a pretty good value for the quality, portions and considering Genève prices. The service was good and in the Swiss / French style of not bugging you while you eat and relax! I will return. I would like to try their octupus next.

When we entered we were transported to Mexico and spent an evening there. The ambiance, decoration and welcome is fantastic. For aperitif Our party of 4 tried the AY sour and another off the menu cocktail with tequila which were both excellent! The Guacamole was also worth ordering as you could make out all the ingredients. We ordered octopus and scallops for entree but the scallop carpaccio was our favourite entree with a spicy coriander sauce so good that I could have ordered a small bowl of. We followed with the mushroom dish, meat and the 6 hour cooked lamb which was my favourite so tender it was like cutting through butter and then came the chocolate cake dessert, like no other in town. I can't fault it, attentive service who remembered what I had when I wanted my first cocktail again and very attentive. We had so much fun and look forward to returning the next time we're in town.

Not Le Bernadine expensive but more like $25 per tapas plate expensive... so definitely a smart Michelin's Star gateway experience and well worth it. It is a very casual and friendly environment. The staff is very attentive and forthcoming with wine suggestions. The wine selection, albeit a little limited, is formidable... had two different red wines and they were both excellent. The tapas were also fantastic.. they had a few token Spanish tapas that were very well executed and some more creative interpretations. We shared the ham croquetttes (which rivaled my Spanish aunts croquettes... I hope she never reads this), the pulpo gallego (very tender and well seasoned), the piadine (very fresh) and the gyoza on special menu. All were very delicious!

Food leaned more French/ Modern European, with a slight inventive nod to some Asian cuisine. I think a bit pricey for lunch, so you might be paying for the atmosphere in part. I ordered the Beef Tartare (38 CHF) which came topped with a raw egg yolk and with a salad and fries on the side. The beef itself was succulent but maybe too simple on its own. In addition, we ordered refreshing lemonades which were aesthetically pleasing to look at, but perhaps a little high in price. A pleasant meal was still enjoyed with a very cordial server. A slight mix-up with the check in the end which led to a confusing situation, but it was of little consequence.

Not too many shareables sounded very filling, but the Salmon Tartare on a brioche was a choice option to provide the necessary sustenance. We shared the chicken wings which were on the smaller side. While I'm more accustomed to American steroid-descended chickies, these were still tasty, the lemon marinade quite prominent.
