The mini burger ( veal and froie) were spectacular at 2.5 euro. We can also recommend the cheese plate and the pate plate. Two of us drank multiple beers and wine and ate our fill for 28 euro. It is a very small bar. Maybe 20 seats including the bar so get there at opening.

Gilt head bream was the standout, perfectly seasoned, ultra fresh, my son and I loved it. Highly recommend! The tasting and museum visit are included in one price. The basic one for 5€ is 6 tastings, including two wines from a faucet on a wall! We had the upgraded tasting with 6 different types of sherry and the two faucet wines for 12€ each. It was GREAT. Our docent/wine host was very informative and very friendly. They include reds and whites and are generally very young. Heads up though, don't plan to get two different types of tastings and share with companions. They don't allow sharing. Hot tip: Ronda has lots of tour busses bringing visitors in from some bigger cities. Wait until they leave to get in and you'll have a better experience. Less crowded, less pressure to buy wine as you leave. We showed up around 2:45pm as they all moved out. We had our run of the place and they were a bit more lax with the tastings...

(From the Moscatos and Pedro Ximenez Grapes). You can also get a Semi-Sweet or Dry. We had a mix of orders. I went for the Semi-Sweet and it was quite sweet. 20% ABV so made for sipping. Thirty minutes later (because why rush?), the lamb chops finally appear. Well, technically they appear -- what actually lands on my plate are three sad grey meat Frisbees. No pink. No juice. Just pure, well-done sadness you could resole boots with. And because it's amateur hour, he brings potatoes. Not veggies. Potatoes. I tell him -- again -- that I ordered veggies. He scurries off and brings some broccoli or whatever, which I gnaw on like a prisoner desperate to get paroled. So, to recap: after a long meal and spectacularly bad service, I leave having consumed soup and vegetables. No lamb. They didn't charge me for the inedible lamb chops -- thanks, heroes -- but they did charge me for the French fries I didn't order and sure as hell didn't eat. Five-star experience all around. Uber local (I was the only foreigner when I went), warm, and the guy there knew how to answer all my Manzanilla questions. There are tables but standing at the bar is the norm. He brings you two olives w every glass order. It looks like you can order chips or sardines if you want. It's a classic, very local joint that is worth the stop to taste the local booze.
