We arrived in Ronda, parked and stumbled upon here. They kept us shaded in the afternoon Sun and the staff was friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the Ham and Melon and she thought this was a perfect balance between savory and sweet. One of my daughters ordered the Iberian pork steak which was excellently cooked. My other daughter ordered the catch of the day which was a nicely cooked. I had the goat. We all enjoyed our dishes. My wife has found the tinto de verano to be her favorite light summertime wine.

The service was superb and the food was spectacular. I grew up in a region known for tomatoes and honestly this was the best of my entire life we also enjoyed the limon refresco bottled in Ronda and the goat chops, also local. This is literally a farm-to-table restaurant located in a main intersection of the city, with a beautiful outdoor patio perfect for people watching.

Casa Ortega was our "go to" spot in Ronda. We always made our way to the rooftop bar for cocktails and Cuban cigars. We exclusively had cocktails here and so did all the locals. I truly enjoyed watching sunsets here and the mojitos and Gin and Tonics were on point and cheap as well. It's actually not big, but it's a locals only kind of spot and a great meeting place.

Loved the seasonal white grilled mushrooms and the clams in garlic sauce. Super location for people watching and Church bells amongst the local music!

The ambient is cozy and very beautiful, and the service is great. There is a variety of great local wines and other beverages. Good choices of tapas, great for either cold or hot weather. The main course is very well served and everything was delicious. There are some local delicacies that the waiter will suggest and they are all great choices. Unfortunately I didn't take more pictures to show how wonderful the food is! A must go in Ronda! Enjoy!

Excellent service and fresh food equals a great culinary experience. My wife and I are currently in Marbella, Mâlaga Spain enjoying great food and wine on the Costa del Sol, we decided to take a drive to Ronda, wine country in the south of Spain. While walking the plaza we decided on this restaurant. Glad we did. Jesus our server was attentive and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Top shelf all around, the service, the food & the ambiance sure put smiles on our face.

High prices, bad food, few options on the menu and everything looks store bought. Worst place i've been to.

A mix of tables and seating with mostly high top and a small Outdoor seating area. They have a private Dining room and a group was having their Holiday Dinner. We were here for dessert but they have a full menu -Meat, Fish and Spanish fare. They also offer Tasting Menus with Wine Pairings. We started with a Cava. Lighter body-and all enjoyed it. Pistachio Cheesecake was Dessert-I've had all types of Cheesecake but this was a first. Pistachio flavors were subtle but they were definitely present. Light and nicely balanced and not too sweet-Delicious! Service was engaged and friendly. Versatile spot with a retail area that would be great for a Drink or a multiple course meal with plenty of Pairing options.

The server asks if I want potatoes or vegetables with the lamb. I say veggies, because I'm an adult who occasionally makes good choices. First course shows up -- soup's fine, nobody dies. Then they bring out the ceviche, slap it down between us like we're supposed to fight for it. We explain, no, genius, that's her meal. He apologizes, like a man who just realized he forgot to put the main course on the grill -- because, spoiler alert, he forgot to put the main course on the grill. Thirty minutes later (because why rush?), the lamb chops finally appear. Well, technically they appear -- what actually lands on my plate are three sad grey meat Frisbees. No pink. No juice. Just pure, well-done sadness you could resole boots with. And because it's amateur hour, he brings potatoes. Not veggies. Potatoes. I tell him -- again -- that I ordered veggies. He scurries off and brings some broccoli or whatever, which I gnaw on like a prisoner desperate to get paroled. So, to recap: after a long meal and spectacularly bad service, I leave having consumed soup and vegetables. No lamb. They didn't charge me for the inedible lamb chops -- thanks, heroes -- but they did charge me for the French fries I didn't order and sure as hell didn't eat. Five-star experience all around. Can't wait to never go back.
