We tried Salmojero for the first time, it was weird at first, because we're not used to cold soup, but it grew on us, we liked it. Our server described it right, salmojero is like salad in soup form. The Calabacin was delicious, it was veggies with cheese on top of zucchini (I think). The squid ink spaghetti was good, but it seemed dry for me, I prefer my pasta with lots of sauce. It tasted good though, I just wish they spaghetti was all black noodles instead of mixed. I thought the black and white noodles together was not visually appealing.

I must say, all three dishes completely blew our minds. The squid ink spaghetti, which we shared, was packed with flavour, and the garlic infused beautifully into the perfectly al dente pasta. My wife especially loved the pluma ibérica--the meat was tender, well-seasoned, and, in her words, "divinely delicious!" As for my braised oxtail wrapped in crispy phyllo pastry, it was bursting with flavour and had an amazing texture. I enjoyed it so much that I finished the entire dish in less than 10 minutes. We've been in Seville for three days now, and this is by far the best restaurant we've visited. The Filipino waitress (unfortunately, we forgot to ask her name) was incredibly friendly and warm, which made the experience even more memorable. Great ambiance. I would say this restaurant is truly a must-visit for anyone coming to Seville.

This is a really beautiful space with a great wine selection and some delicious tapas…read more We started with some Albariño and a fino Sherry (younger and lighter version), a chicken skewer tapa and a kabob tapa. Chicken was very flavorful. The kabob was flavorful but a little dry. The kabob was also a little small, even for a tapa. Next we had a couple of other varieties of Sherry and a delicious cheese plate. We had a great time here just chatting, snacking and enjoying the beautiful light in this restored gem. We continually commented on how well done the building renovation had been done. A really gorgeous job of accentuating the past while keeping some clean modernity. Excellent service. One star deducted for a lack of a wine list and some minor missteps on the tapas. What gives!? Dozens of wines and no list? We will probably be back tomorrow after our Sherry tour.

Found this place by mistake - was trying for next door (Restaurante Reino de León .. very good…read morereviews on trip advisor) - but got sucked in by the ambience, and the beautiful interior. We arrived late - about 4pm - which is pushing it for service at lunchtime. But they agreed to feed us if we ordered quickly. Random frenzied menu stabbing produced: - tempura prawn kebabs with a salmorejo of avocado and sherry - a pastel of ortiguillas with a mushroom sauce (sea anenome : see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ortiguillas) - revueltos con bacalao (scrambled eggs with cod) and caramelised onions on top. - berenjenas with salmorejo (aubergines with a tomato sauce) Everything was incredible. We tried to reorder - but the kitchen had closed. Met the chef as we were leaving - and told him our error ... he was full of praise for the place next door - we were full of praise for his brilliant cooking. I've eaten quite a lot in Cadiz and Jerez in the last couple of years. For Tapas - this was something special, and perhaps some of the most interesting and well prepared food I have tasted in this part of the world.
