Great Mexican food in a cool old building. Service was fantastic, definitely worth the short drive out to Minburn.

You can't help but want to go in when you see it from the street! They were busy busy when we were in, but the service was still exceptional. And you could tell that they were beloved by other patrons in there too. We got the margarita with the pour bottle for $11 and got four margaritas out of it! It's not the strongest, but it's delicous and I love that they put fresh citrus cuttings in it. We weren't too hungry so we got a Choripollo platter to share and a bowl of the Birria Ramen. The Choripollo was a hefty platter with grilled chicken, chorizo, cheese sauce, lettuce, rice, guac, and more. It worked great for sharing as a table and scooping up with chips and tortillas. The Birria Ramen bowl was INSANELY MASSIVE! Like could feed four people. The broth was unreal, with delicious birria meat and ramen noodles. Can't beat it! I hope they thrive here - and I know we'll definitely be back anytime we're in town.

We were quickly seated and got our drinks and started to look over the menu, which house lots of options! The kids settled in on a grilled cheese and a taco respectively. I decided to get the lunch burrito and my wife went for the lunch enchilada. Our food came out pretty quickly and everything was very fresh tasting and the serving sizes are huge! For a lunch special I expected a lunch-sized portion and I got what I would consider an evening-sized portion. The same for my wife's meal. When we were wrapping up, they came out with ice cream for the kids. They really enjoyed that even though you would've thought they'd have been full after all they ate for lunch. The spice level on everything was very mild. The salsa had just a little bit of a zing to it but nothing that would stop the kids for eating it. Next time I will ask for some hot sauce or throw some jalapeños in my entrée, but I do like it spiced up a bit. Service was very good and a gentleman who I assume is the owner was very funny and engaged well with everyone in the restaurant. They have a parking lot and everything was neat and clean. We did not partake of any adult drink offerings, but they did have what look to be a nice nicely stocked bar

This is a Tex-Mex restaurant. Native Texan here, check my oldest YELP reviews, people. Tex-Mex cuisine is different as cheese plays a more featured role than it does in Mexican cuisine, but unlike Americanized Mexican cuisine, it comes from Tejanos who are A) Hispanic and B) actually season their food. The customer service here is glorious! You definitely feel appreciated. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and they are keeping the number of dine in customers fairly low and spaced out. I've dined in once but lately have stuck to carry out. I think they were initially lax with masks, but were wearing them when I went in today. The food was delicious, and reminded me of Tex Mex fare back in Houston. The portions were large and the price was nice. The chips and salsa were fantastic! It tasted great even after the 30 minute drive home. I think I've found my regular Tex-Mex spot. What I liked most were the seasonings and sauciness - well balanced and no one aspect was overpowering. It also looked so pretty! Get at the tamales!!!

Coming from Minneapolis, having chips and salsa for the table is a welcome joy - and they have some of the best dang chips I've ever had! ALWAYS order queso for the table. Theirs is delish. I love their street tacos and enjoy their combos too. My partner loved their quesadilla, and especially enjoyed the ham and bean soup they give on the side.
