This time around we went there twice, first time we ordered the fried octopus appetizer and one of my favorite dishes, the octopus rice. They treated me like I was inconveniencing them - didn't greet me at the door, I don't think they even said anything to me. Oh, and I was the only patron at that time, so there's no excuse. And when a second solo patron came in they literally sat him directly behind me so that the back of his chair was literally inches from the back of mine! Keep in mind, the whole restaurant was empty! I had to signal to the hostess when I wanted water, and again when I wanted to order, since no server had come to check on me. The food was definitely made with love, I just wish they could get their staff to care half as much.

You could build your own sandwich or salad. Most of the items probably come out of pre-packaged bags. I would compare it to bagged salad in a supermarket. Nothing special, but it fills your stomach. They also have two soups to choose from. I tried the spinach soup. It was average and tasted like simple creamy spinach soup. You won't find a bunch of spicy sauces or great dressings for your sandwich or salad. Simple stuff which makes it taste, well, simple... I wish I could provide a better description for you.. We stopped at Leitaria for a late lunch and couldn't not have been more impressed with everything the had to offer. The outside patio was spacious and nestled ticking off ambience, the inside dining room was well lit and perfect. We sat outside, ordered drinks and perused the menu. We started with a few appetizers, a mixed plate of samosas, cheese and fried cornbread...all of which were delicious. Next, we had the lemon butter clams, they were little, full of butter and flavor, I even found myself drinking the broth. For our mains we had the wagu burger with egg and cheese with a side of fries and the shrimp linguini. Both dishes were spectacular, the pasta had the best tomatoes, simple but so fresh. The service was outstanding, the our server was meticulous and very accommodating.
