Back in town after toooo long. Can't come here without getting a Super Burrito $13.50.. It has EVERYTHING a burrito should have. it's large and filled with everything a GREAT burrito should include. Living in Miami, Florida you should find plenty of great burritos. Not the case at all. A few months ago I found a good burrito close to home. Then, after a couple of months they closed. I was told I would have to go to Homestead Fl ( 45 miles away ) to get great Mexican food because of the large Mexican population there. Will have to give it a try. We stopped by Johnson's for peaches and were in need of lunch. Thanks to Yelpers reviews we headed over to Casa Mexicana and weren't disappointed! The salsa and chips came out quickly. The chips were crispy and warm and the salsa had just enough bite, but not too much. It's easy to fill up on chips so I had to keep tabs on my intake! I had the lunch portion of the large chicken burrito topped with creamy queso cheese. The chicken was moist and the queso cheese was a perfect topping and also a way to dip more chips! The rice and beans were as good as it gets too. Everything was so good I ate it all, even though it was a huge plateful. The service is fast and friendly and our drinks were kept filled. The decor is light, bright, and colorful which gives it an festive vibe. If I were in the area again I'd definitely stop here again! read more

. I have eaten there since they first opened years ago. It was my favorite place to eat here. I absolutely loved it. But starting about 6 or 7 years ago I starting getting awful meals. I mean awful. The first one was chimichangas. It was 16 bucks. When I got it home it wasn't black but very dark brown. Hard are smelled putrid. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. The next time I ordered a chili relleno. Normally they were a good size. Normal for the dish. Mine was 3 inches long. The next time I went with family to celebrate my granddaughters birthday. I ordered pork in my Alambra dish. The waiter got very stressed when I ordered this so I told him I'd just take it the regular way and I apologized. He goes and gets Mario and brings him back to the table! I was embarrassed and told Mario I was so sorry and didn't want to make a fuss and forget about adding the pork. He seemed to be being nice and said no problem and that he would make sure I got the pork. I was so aggravated over the fuss the waiter had caused I completely lost my appetite by then. I was so embarrassed. It's a good thing I lost my appetite because the pork which was usually good was balls of fat. There were many more instances like this. But it seems to only be happening to me. Everyone loves the food here. The bad service and food I've gotten here over the past several years really feels personal. I have no idea why this is happening. read more

I cannot give this anything less than 5 stars. The food tastes very authentic. It's a local favorite apparently. I happened to stop by here en route to FLA. First time eating here and got it to go. I was very shocked to discover very good food!! Sometimes I think it is bad to be located in a shopping center opposed to a private establishment. Some patrons like to observe an establishment before they try it and judge it by how busy their parking lot stays and that's difficult to do in a shopping center where there are other businesses...my case in point!! Older gentleman at register always has an attitude if you're not spending big money. Called in order for some chips and charged 8$ for 2 oz of cheese dip (not filled to the top), But a bag full of chips? The cheese would of only lasted like 10 chips. Sent my SO to pay for it and was shocked to what they sold him. I made him go back in to get our money back and man said he wouldn't do a refund. So I had to go back in and tell the man we don't want their food. I explained to him other restaurants give a generous amount and not a sample cup and that I was expecting more and want my money back. The man literally argued with a pregnant lady. My family and I found some good reviews for this place on Yelp and decided to stop here for lunch while passing by on a road trip. We found the staff here all to be very friendly and attentive. They brought our chips and salsa right away and our drinks very quickly. The chips could have been a little fresher, but they weren't bad enough for me to ding them for it in stars. The meals made up for it. At the waiter's recommendation, I ordered the slice of chicken breast with chorizo. The meal came with rice, beans, and tortillas. It was excellent. My husband and daughter also really enjoyed their meals. My husband had the chicken taco salad. He said it was about 4 stars for him, but he really liked that it had a lot of chicken. This place is located at roughly the halfway point between the Piedmont and the coast. Good food, service is generally good but can be perceived as slow if you're in a hurry.
