Very organized and the party area had plenty of seats, tables, and you can bring in any food you want. We had pizza delivered and staff was great to help. The building Spark was located within was also artsy and cool. Highly recommended! The only thing difficult was the parking. Be careful of no parking areas.

There was an art installation (similar or part of Meow) and so much fun to take a look at this vibrant and funky art. For Insta people, lots of fun photo opportunities! There is a giant steel structure/installation that has lots of space to climb in, slide through and explore. So much to see and we spent a good 60 mins of play there. Make sure to check the corners ( you're allowed to go in) so you don't miss anything. We almost missed an area. Also there is some areas to do some art as well. We didn't stop to do it but it's there. One slide can be intense, so probably not for small kiddos. Probably good for kids 7 and above (6 if they are courageous) just because of the climbing structure areas and bars width. Parents with young children should follow, they literally can land up somewhere else and some areas they do need to climb up and might need help. Definetly wear sneakers. I wore the wrong shoes and couldn't go into certain areas. Great concept and fun!

Very fun for my kids and that's all that mattered. Well kept aquariums and lots of creatures that you don't normally see at other aquariums such as a huge manatee lol. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking in a broken down parking lot. Make sure to scan the QR code on your phone to secure your parking pass so you don't get towed. The whole exhibit ranges from 2-3hrs depending on how much you read and walk. If you can do it within 2hrs then purchase the cheapest parking timeframe.

It always surprises me how many animals and reptiles are kept here. Although I expected it to be super crammed and uncomfortable during the break, all patrons were calm and respectful and the lines through the aquariums weren't bad at all. That being said, we arrived around 9:00am and so thankful we did because the line and the entrance was wrapped around the building by the time we finished our visit and headed back to the car. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny for tickets. But I truly think the experience is worth it.

Let me point out from the beginning, one of my earliest childhood memories was standing in front of the tank of Piranha in a dream state . Originally built as part of the Texas Centennial Celebration in 1936,it remained to be used in Fair Park all year and during the State Fair of Texas. One of dozens of buildings built in the Art Deco style, this aquarium was one of only 12 in the US at the time In 1963 it was expanded making it the 3 rd largest in the nation . It was placed on the National Historic Landmark registry and a Has cycled through decades of ups and downs. Most recently closing after the pandemic. Fortunately a company has stepped in to save and operate it. Fare warning, this is a local niche treasure and not a word class facility. Someplace you can take kids for an hour or so without spending a fortune. My grandsons and I went here and had a lot of fun for an hour. So,if your expectations are historic small aquarium, easy parking, reasonable admission and interesting sea creatures. Go!
