I had this for the first time this week and was pretty impressed. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering how expensive everything has become lately. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa, and my molcajete was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge! The nachos were a bit overwhelming because of their size, but they were still good. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and polite throughout our visit. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and I do wish there was a little more seating, but that's really my only complaint. Food- Just Ok, nothing to write home about. Service- Horrible, waitress was rude and hollered at me that I ordered my food incorrectly. But the menu literally says choice of red or green sauce and choice of meat. I picked chicken enchilada with red sauce. They brought me a green sauce enchilada when I asked for it to be made as I asked she took the plate back with attitude. Then when it was brought back she then stated. Chicken is always green and cheese is red. Remember that next time you come. Seriously!! Then don't give options and only offer how you make them. I would have been ok with a red sauce cheese enchilada. Either change the menu or make it the way it's requested by the options you state on the menu! Ambiance-ok. First time here. On a weekend, it was busy and a little bit of a wait. The service was "weird ", we were seated then 2 other parties were seated after us but the server (btw seated us too) took the order of the other tables before ours. Not saying anything bad about it, but both tables were Spanish speaking and then I noticed most of the other people in the restaurant were also Spanish speaking. Maybe making something out of nothing. But it bugged me. And by time we got our food the other tables were almost done. Just my observation. We ordered huevos rancheros and a bowl of Pozole. Ok. The Pozole was very good! Good flavor and lots of chunks of pork and the right amount of hominy. I could've used a bit more cabbage and tortillas don't come with the order, have to order extra on the side if you want it. Lisa liked her huevos ranchero. Eggs were cooked how she ordered them and not too much sauce. It seems like a regular hang-out for locals and I'm sure they don't care about my review or if I ever return. I may return to order something to go because the food was very tasty and I want to try other items on the menu. I just didn't get the warm response as did the other patrons. I still support small businesses and apparently this place is not lacking in the support. I just wished that they were a little more appreciative of "everyone " that spends money in their restaurant. I live by there and decided to go. Found it because of social media. I always get cupcakes and Starbucks form that parking lot and I've never seen it. The two different salsas they give are good. Taco was crispy. Good amounts of cheese and lettuce. Beans and rice are ok. Sat down and had a someone come take our order. Very friendly. Small space but it's like a hole in wall. This establishment is one of the best places for authentic Mexican food. Today we ordered the posole and cheese enchiladas with beans and rice. These dishes were made perfectly. The tortilla chips and salsa and flour tortillas were tasty and so was the Horchata. They have indoor and outdoor tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. The customer service is excellent and honest. I left my visa card behind, and when I got back, they had it waiting for me, which I was thankful for. The prices are very reasonable a lot lower than other establishments of this kind. I saw this spot advertised while scrolling one of the social media Apps. The comments were promising, so I decided to see for myself. Here we go. We ordered the Flautas Combo and One Taco Combo. The shredded chicken in the flautas had zero seasoning- just shredded, boiled, bland chicken, but the tortilla that surrounded it was light and crispy. I took a bite, and that was enough for me, after all it was not my order. My daughter felt like the avocado "saved it" from being completely tasteless. The shrimp taco was good, very fresh and that was a plus. However, I would order it without the cheese, it was a bit too much and distracted the flavor. The beans and rice were cooked to perfection, but, again no flavor. The chips were good and if you combine the two salsas they serve, and add a few shakes of salt it is delicious. It's a nice, small spot that appears to cater to local, repeat customers. Our waitress was very accommodating, no complaints there. Tried this place as we've seen it on Instagram quite a few times. Got there and was seated very quickly, busser took drink orders sand brought them back quickly. About 10 minutes later, waitress came and took our order. About 25 minutes later, waitress returns and asked "what did you order again?" They never placed our order.
