They charge 7 dollars for one with almost no stuffing we order chicharon and they had no chicharrón it was like little ground beef with salsa and very dry and nooo cheese whatever. The attitude of the cook when I said that they had no chicharrón and said that if I didn't like them or the price not to pay for them but in a rude manner. Pretty early so no one was there yet, superior friendly team member greeted me and confirmed that they had Machaca. Oh my goodness it was perfect. For those that do not know what this amazing plate is, it is shredded beef with eggs and potatoes (papas) with a side of arroz y frijoles! With 4 tortilla of your choice, I chose flour. I like to add diced onions and lemon, which they didn't have lemons so limes will have to do. And of course some chile! I literally devoured everything, plate was super clean after I was done. Excellent small local restaurant. It is causal dining. You order at the register and they bring the food to you. I got my food to go. Looks like a lot of construction workers and truckers come here (they were all lined up). Fast and friendly service at affordable prices. Had the fried fish and it was excellent. So if you're ever in West sac or if you're coming from Davis heading to Sacramento it is the first exit off the causeway which is Enterprise Boulevard. Definitely stop by check them out it's a mom and pop shop. There were so many good choices to choose from. I saw the pupusa's I wanna go back and try them indefinitely. There are several Mexican food places just in West Sac and wanted to try a new one. We had been here when it was something else as this building has changed hands quite a few times. I was hopeful with the Yelp reviews. Like a taqueria, you order at the counter. I ordered the Birria Tacos combo with a pork tamale ala carte. My total came to $17 which seemed pricey. The chips and salsa bar are behind the counter and the man working asked if we wanted chips. I said sure. He asked if I wanted them inside my to-go plate or on the side. I said side. He proceeded to grab a handful of chips bare handed into a paper baggie and put it my bag. I was apalled. Who does that in any food service anymore??? No tongs. No gloves. I was a bit turned off by that. My friend later says she didn't get any in hers and I told her you wouldn't want them anyway. We bring them back to work and it was awful. The beans were visibly dry and so was the rice like they were days old. They should be ashamed to call these a Birria taco. No crisp. No cheese. It was soggy and greasy. At least the Consume had some flavor. It was a Jimboys taco at best. Then the tamale was so dry that it was hard on the ends with way too much meal and hardly any meat. I know it was bad because I just could not finish it and threw half of it away. I will not be back. read more

We ordered the tacos de carnitas, asada, Birria, chorizo, chicken verde, impossible meat, and Al pastor. I also ordered the torta Ahogada and the sauce is different from the normal sauce. it's the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been too. I've been vegan over 18years and grew up with my mom making fresh tortillas for regular meals. And this feels like home!! They have a vegan menu and are so happy to accommodate anyones dietary needs with pleasure. My absolute favorite are the empanadas and Papa crispy tacos. That they make fresh on the spot‼ They use impossible meat on a lot of dishes. That's what I have them put in my empanadas.
