Tacos

I loved this restaurant! The Mexican decor is very cute! It's out in West Sac, close by the rivercats stadium. I've lived in sac my whole life and never knew it existed because it's in a spot of town that isn't downtown or midtown. The service was great, I felt like the waiter was very personable and helpful! I also thoroughly enjoyed my food and my families food was delicious as well. They have a great selection of alcohol for drinks to enjoy for a fun time out with friends or family.

Best carnitas torta I've ever had. Too large to eat. 1/2 a beautiful avocado. Sal's has some of the best Mexican food in town. Great service and fun decor.

It is my second visit here during lunch time. We had a party of 4. Arrived at 11:30am and was seated promptly. Parking was easy in their small parking lot. Restaurant filled up quickly during the lunch hour. The decor is colorful and made me feel like I was in Mexico. The staff is friendly and attentive. The charge for chips and salsa. Which was odd to me because most Mexican restaurants I have visited usually offer complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. I ordered the 4 soft tacos with 4 different meats: chicken, asada, carnitas, and adobada. I enjoyed them

When we heard Sal's was under new ownership we RAN to try it. 10/10 experience all around! They've made updates to the interior and the patio. We sat on the patio and loved the vibe. It's the perfect spot before or after an A's game. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive. He checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our food and we were! We ordered the margaritas, steak plate, and enchiladas. Everything was delicious! The beans and rice were perfect too. We'll absolutely be back!

Some of the BEST authentic Mexican food I've ever had! I felt like I was back in Mexico when I entered and took in the ambiance. Super enjoyable service! I highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back here again. Big thank youto Sal's Tacos.

This cafe is so fun the decorations are special in many ways and tile work inside and out. Food was very good I ate too much and we still had leftovers. Fish tacos came crisp fish, lots of cabbage, excellent sauces- just a hop away from Tower Bridge.

Have gone here a couple times, normally for takeout - food is pretty good but the service is meh. They always seem understaffed. Crunchy tacos hit the spot for me. Came with chips and salsa which were fine but not amazing.

I'm not sure if Sal's Tacos in West Sacramento changed ownership, but wow--the food and service are better than ever! The interior has been updated, creating a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. It feels amazing to dine in and enjoy a great meal! I had their street tacos with al pastor and carnitas, and they were delicious! The portion of meat was generous, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh, and the flavors were on point. If you haven't been here in a while, I highly recommend checking them out--or if you're new, this is definitely a spot worth visiting! You won't be disappointed!

Sal's Tacos in West Sacto is awesome! I felt like I was in Mexico! I highly recommend for their food, great customer service and beautiful ambiance. Check it out soon!

The menu has changed since the last time we were here. It's a larger menu now with more variety. We started with the frijoles dip(bean dip). It was really good. It was stringy with cheese. It came with non spicy red and green salsa. I liked the flavor of the green one more. They even refilled the bowl of chips. We also split the plate of street tacos. I liked the steak/asada tacos best. With their new menu I recommend eating here. It was a little chilly as the door kept opening and closing and it's a small place. We were 2 booths from the door. I'd wear more clothing next time.

It was okay. I ordered a burrito and it didn't wow me. So, if you want comfortable food, then go.

The meat was delicious and the price ($1.99) was amazing inexpensive on taco Tuesday. We were at the restaurant at noon. Taking orders at the counter was quick as was the service of the meals. I was surprised, because the line of customers ordering food was always longer than 6 customers. And yet we were served quickly. Since almost everyone was ordering tacos, perhaps this helps in preparing the food quickly. We will be back.

Another Mexican spot I can add to the rotation…read more I've heard of this place before and I've been to this restaurant when it used to be a Viet restaurant. After working out, I was going to the movies so wanted to grab something I can bring to the theaters to eat and watch. I ended up at Los Immortales. As I've said in a few previous review, my go to when I first eat at a new-to-me Mexican spot is the California burrito. So I ordered over the phone for pick up. The Cali burrito here comes with meat, cheese, pico, fries and refried beans. I added in sour cream (from my receipt, looks like there was no extra charge, but I could be wrong). I also got a Pina drink since I wasn't feeling a horchata. Parking here is okay. It's good if there are spots open, but getting into the lot can be a hassle and the layout is a bit weird. Leaving the lot can be hard also if there is a lot of traffic. The restaurant itself has a lot of tables and room. Good for groups and crowds. There is a chip and salsa/sauce bar by the register. The decor feels homey as well. There is a self serve drink fountain. The customer service was good. When I first got there, I did have to wait a few minutes since no one was at the register and I didn't see a way to notify employees I was waiting. Back to the food, the burrito is good. I've never had refried beans in a Cali burrito before. My favorite burrito is still from Oscar's very Mexican food. This one is above average, but I'd probably get something else the next time I go here. The Pina drink was great. It was sweet and cold thanks to the ice. I was also able to get hot sauces and chips from a bag given to me by the employee who took my order. I'll have to try their tacos next time since that seems to be the main attraction.
