I hired this company to refinish the red oak flooring in three different apartments in an apartment…read morecomplex in South Tampa. Their work was substandard and dirty and sloppy. They were not punctual showing up. I signed them up on my project then they put me on the back burner in favor of their other jobs. They kept telling me that they had to finish their other jobs before they could finish mine. They would report for work for only a short time and then leave without completing anything. This went on for about 3 weeks for a job that should have taken less than one week. They spilled wet Polyurethane liquid on the apartment's exterior window sill and it dribbled down the wall on to the concrete walkway under it. They left wet Poly can marks (the bottom of the can) on the exterior walkways instead of using a drop cloth. (several locations.) They rested their wet paint rollers directly on the walkway instead of using a drop cloth. (several locations.) They did not clean up the dust, from their sanding job, from the exterior walkways. (Through out the entire project.) They left a glob of brown gooey adhesive on the floor in the middle of a dining room. They over rolled their Poly material across a door threshold onto a good ceramic time floor. One of the rooms had orange streaks thorough out the room. All of the above was discovered after they told me that they had finished the job. I complained to them and they said they would come back and take care of it. They did come back but none of the above issues were corrected.

Take The Money And Run I got 3 quotes for sanding and clear…read morecoating our floors. One stupid high, one weirdly low and These guys in the middle. Read the reviews, even had a friend of a friend recommend them. Picked them. The good: Chris gave a good sales pitch; thorough, process and product well explained, yada. Also did a good job showing us how different shades and sheens looked on our floor. We were able to stay in the house because we had an in and out without crossing the flooring so we watched the day by day. Looked good throughout and when finished at first - the refinished floors looked awesome. Now, I am a little picky and we spent a lot of money on this. The bad: Attention to detail on the finished product. There are drip spots around the finished product. TTW told me those are permanent, the application mop drips during the process. So they look line drops of water on the floor. The original ¼ round was finished with 45 degree angles at open ends like around doorways, that was a nicer finish, when they replaced the ¼ round they chopped those at 90 degrees. When I asked about that they looked at me like I just stepped out of an alien spacecraft. The bad: Back to the ¼ round - they nailed in across my double French doors out to my lanai so we couldn't open the doors. I called times to get them to come out and fix that. 5 to the office, 2 of those were answered by a lady who said she'd pass along that message. 3 of those I left messages. The guy that referred TTW to me told the owner. Still no call back to me. Some guy just randomly showed up unannounced - yanked up that piece of ¼ round. We asked for a piece of finished threshold (they did this on our front door) and the guy said he would go back to the shop and try and find a piece that would match. Also, they replaced several boards and a couple of those are now no longer firmly glued down. Someone else wrote a review on this same thing. I Never heard from them again. Several calls to the office and owner's cell. Crickets. Zero, terrible non-existent post job customer service. Take The Money And Run

It was a large project, and start to finish probably took three months. There was quite a bit of time spent getting floors chosen, contracts written, ordering the floors and waiting for them to arrive. Once the product landed, it only took about 2-3 weeks for the installation, and then several more weeks while we got the stairs refinished. All along the way, the owner of the Company Chris was very involved, and his right hand person Dennis was extremely patient during the contracting process. Their office is professional and never pressed us for money, but told us in advance what we owed and when. They knew they were one part of a larger renovation, and showed us a lot of respect. It was a pleasure working with them. Their crews are outstanding and I enjoyed having them come to our house. They always let us know what was going to be done, when we were approaching milestones, and despite warnings to the contrary from others, we never had to move out of our home or use offsite storage. They handled our furniture as if was their own and if we needed touch ups or the like, they never pushed back. Everything was taken care of as promised. They honor their commitments and take pride in what they do. We are really proud of how nice the floors look, and while they were paid a lot, they earned everything. I highly recommend them and as many of us enjoy using locally owned companies I wanted to get this review done promptly. They seem to take very good care of their employees. Our crew leader Paul did a fantastic job and has a lot of experience. That says a lot when you learn people have worked for the company for 15-20 years.

The gave us a quote for a carport since ours was damaged from the last hurricane…read more It turned out to be a much cheaper quality than what we had on our mobile home. We had a light rain the afternoon they finished installing the carport. It leaked and they fixed it...but it still leaked and they ended up having to come back 2 more times. Each time saying that it was now "fixed"...it wasn't. Then we had a windy day and 2 panels blew off it was so cheaply done. They came back a 4th time to add screws that the earlier workers hadn't bothered to put in enough of ...it's been pretty trying times for us. I wish I'd never given them money. I wish I had waited for someone to do it right the first time. Besides that the workers left the yard littered with trash, metal remnants from the work, screws. Just really disappointing.

I just wish I had started with them from the beginning. I tried to do it as an owner builder and had a recommendation for an engineer who drew up plans that would have cost me over $15,000 more than how Veterans MHS had spec'd the project. Their engineers/project managers even contacted the design engineer who did the drawings and sent them the product specs for the solution they recommended and the engineer ended up changing the drawings to incorporate Veteran's MHS solution. While I had to pay to redo the specs, I saved thousands of dollars and several months of time on the project with Veteran's MHS's help. The company was VERY responsive, returning calls and emails quickly and following up as needed. They managed all the subcontractors and accommodated all my questions and inquiries about the job while it was being done. They stand by their work and ensure that you are satisfied or they are not happy until you are. I know who I am calling when I need anything done regarding my manufactured home.
